High bow and low aft make her more majestic. the bridge is tall and imposing (fortunately not insanely tall like the Fusou-class), there's that pile of AA and secondary guns all around the tower that almost looks like art, the mast is cool-looking, the mini-airfield at the back, and the Chrysanthemum with that menacing-looking tip is a nice final touch.

Those ships you mention look pretty nice too. Roma in particular I like, and North Carolina is looong in a good way.
