say something that make Sup Forums rustle

I skipped the farming arc in vagabond.

A boy falls in love with a girl.

I think saying saying "berserk is GOAT" is equivalent to saying "tupac is the greatest rapper of history."

It's not that you're right or wrong per se. You're just overflowing with pleb aura and telegraphing that you haven't really explored much beyond the shallow end, imho.

/thread

I think employing the term GOAT in general is a sign of pleb-dom.
You are too fixated on ranking to realize that things are subjective and even your own tastes are shifting.
I have several items among my personal favorites that I haven't watched or read for a decade and that would lose their spot in my hit list if I did.

I rather Aku no Hana's anime than the manga

>reading vagabond

...

This will rustle at least one faggot.

I know what you mean but it's hard to explain it because it just sounds like shitting on something for being popular. I mean, it is really good, but everyone and their mother knows it's good and has known it since they were entry level, so praising it comes across as newfaggotry.

naruto is actually on the higher end of shonen, Sup Forumss perception of it is permanently skewed by fillers, years of contrarianism, and memes

1.Jap
2.Spanish
All other dubs were complete shit.

The beef stroganoff song was shit and not even the correct recipe

The only good thing to come out of it is this image

...

It's a lose-lose situation. Saying it's the best comes across as trying hard to be anti-mainstream, but acknowledging it as one of the greats and bringing it up in every single recommendation or art thread shows that it's actually mainstream in a sense.

I think a decade ago it was a fair judgement, but more and more I think "lelele Berserk is underrated GOAT gem" comments will become ironically corny. At the end of the day I DO think it's in the top 30 for sure (same with Tupac fwiw), but I'm mainly trying to get across that you can't use the "I know about Berserk so now I'm a manga genius scholar" anymore.
TL;DR - credit where credit is due: Berserk is fantastic. But in the /currentyear/ acting like Berserk is the holy grail of patrician taste just seems corny and borderline snobbish. But that's just me

One Outs is a bad sports anime.

One Outs makes all other sports anime seem boring in comparison. I can't give a fuck about kids getting to koshien anymore, the stakes are higher in gambling and it's more exciting when keikakus are involved rather than hardwork, willpower and friendship.

I didn't say it was a bad anime. I just don't view it as a sports anime. Rather a gambling type, like Akagi, but with baseball instead of mahjong.

why was it even there?
she was depressed then happily singing about beef stroganoff then depressed again all in 2 minutes

That's true, but I think pure sports anime are pretty inherently flawed to begin with. They usually start out fun and interesting, but devolve into non stop dragged out matches full of forced tension. Most of the best series about sports have some other genre mixed in (like gambling in this case, drama for Ping Pong, romance for Adachi stuff, etc).

I don't know, but the Symphogear fandom is highly defensive of this horrible song and throws a massive shitfit whenever you imply it's not a godsend

I haven't watched or read the series but I kind of like the rotoscoped style from what I've seen of it.

That's what a sports season is though. I get what you're saying though. Most baseball anime seems normal to me since I grew up playing/watching the long seasons.

It's a cute song and nice to listen to but its's so pointless and out of place
also who the fuck says stroganoff like suu-tro-gah-nofuu

Elevens who read it from katakana

SAO a best

Aria is too comfy for me.

>Kubo is a good writer. He foreshadows blah blah blah

Pac isn't shallow-end, half the kids these days haven't heard shit beyond snippets in thug life memes. Replace Pac with Eminem and you'll have a functional analogy.
