What convinced you to believe in God? If there was no particular instance where you realized there was a God was it because its the religion you were raised to believe? Only 2% of the world doesn't believe in a god, over 7bn people believe in some form of God. I want to believe but I can't convince myself to dedicate my life to something or someone that I have never seen or heard of outside of word of mouth. Help me become a creationist guys, I WANT TO BELIEVE
What convinced you to believe in God...
The book of revelation makes sense if you look at the world today. How can it predict so well if it was written by a man so long ago?
Nice bullshit statistics
Even when I was an Atheist I would find myself saying stuff like, "thank you, God". So I guess it is just natural to me now. I knew all along.
I dont own a bible, could you tell me some of the things it predicted?
>What convinced you to believe in God
My father was an exorcist. I witnessed things. Knowing satan and the demons existed, God must have existed, too.
Yet, as a younger man, I chose the demons. Deo gratias that is the case no longer.
I believe I have Freewill, Freewill necessitates a God! If Freewill doesn't exist, then that means EVERYTHING is Determined! If everything is Determined then it doesn't matter what you do! Well, I think what I do, matters!
Tell me more.
I was a communist and realized that it was a hate movement and it was quite literally the devil.
I realized that Christianity has done far more for the working class than any ideology.
After that you just realize the whole thing works. And it works very well. That and it's true.
Doesn't God claim to know everything? If he knows everything he knows have you will do. And if everything you will do in the future is already determined do you actually have freewill?
