It is similar in appearance to the Iron Cross. Not Nazi but Nazis did use it.

If you are referring to the black "iron cross", no it's not related to the christian red cross used by the order of the templars and other orders.

Well, that exact cross pattee is used in the 11th degree of Scandinavian Rite Freemasonry (being a Templar degree, and it's on the regalia, pictured), so i'm inclined to say you have a picture of the Norwegian Grand Lodge.
But, it might also be something else coincidental.

Such a red cross is the symbol of the Swedish Rite freemasons which should be the dominant organization in Norway too.

Unlike the G and triangles the Scottish rite uses.

the order was indeed very french, but their holding were everywhere.
Some countries allowed them to keep that land so they remained in there.
Christ's Order, is literaly that, and thanks to it we got expertise from french generals and fortress builders (which were some of the best at the time) to help us in our struggles
