WSJD - World Trigger

Boku no Hero Academia Shokugeki no Souma

...

...

...

Well, HE didn't come up with that, and he actually DID think of making himself stronger, but hey, he doesn't think like that anymore so it's fine.

I'll just...gently nudge this OsaKito ship a little further along...

Grumpy Ninomiya

Seraph in this issue?

Yes.

I'll make a thread and provide a link but I WON'T be dumping it this month. The reason is, holy fuck why are there so many fucking double-pages in this series? And this chapter has far more than usual. I can't be bothered joining/dumping all that when I don't actualy read this series (yet?). But, I'll still provide since I already started.

...

oh yeah, that uniform; I'm reminded Teruya and Konami go to the same school

...

What a asshole, he can´t shit on them this time and instead of be happily surprised he gets mad.

...

ooh I never noticed that. Nice detail.

I´m sure that he will soon tell everyone that it was Kitora´s idea, then we will have another sweet Osakita moment with Kitora being surprised again of Osamu´s humbleness.

This is what I figured the "trick" was.

Told you guys it wasn't anything special.

...

I´m curious, did Kitora also teach Osamu this trick or only how to change the colors and put the wires around?

...

KATORI'S

BUTT

She told him she could change color/visibility and left it mostly to him. She didn't want to teach him much.

...

>even glasses thought that comment from Hana was too much
I'm still curious about why this team is so close-knit despite everything. We only have reason for 2/4.

I love this page.

Shut up, Hyuse.

Chapter over.

Hyuse is a bigger tsun than Kitora

Thanks

>I can't be bothered joining/dumping all that
I will do it instead of you, if you don't mind

Of course I don't. Here's the thread

Yaaay!!

i wonder how hard T2+Hyuse can steamroll in the rank wars

Pretty fucking hard I guess, Yuma and Hyuse are easily top A ranks, Chika has incredible potential and Osamu will be the tactician.

In BFF it says Hyuse's Lampiris is a Horn Trigger, does that mean his Trion value drops significantly when using Border Triggers?

for some reason i cant see the author just throw another trion monster in T2. It would be kinda unfair.

on the other hand, i just want to see some salty faces when people realize that T2 got another neighbor in their squad who is a trion monster

According to Kitora, even if enrollment periods are increased to every month, there's still at least full week before Hyuse can officially join.

This means no T2+Hyuse next Rank War.

I don't think most people know, Yuma is a neighbor.
But that's gonna be pretty obvious with Hyuse.

>implying jin didn't forsee everything and already enrolled him

The most A rankers probably know yuma is a neighbor. Aside from that, hyuse's horns are a dead giveaway to anyone who fought/saw a neighbor in the war that he's a neighbor

I remember in a previous thread we were talking about how the only people that saw Hyuse during the large scale invasion were Tamakoma, Border execs, some of the A-rankers, and a few C-rankers including the three idiots. It's a pretty similar group to the people that know Yuma's a neighbor. If they find some way to disguise his horns (likely through a trion body) I don't think anyone will notice. Although I'd love to see the three idiots call him out for being a neighbor and everyone just ignores them.

Also, The version with Hyrein feeding the birds is better, but I do like the Osamu/Konami.

Just imagine how the 3 idiots will shit themselves when Hyuse they suddenly fight against Hyuse in C-ranks. Must be hard getting wrecked by 2 neighbours. Or are they already B-rank?

ふん

>The version with Hyrein feeding the birds is better

I was the one who made that one.
Must have forgot to delete the old one.

It's been a while since we've seen them. If any of them had managed to move up to B-rank, I can't imagine Ashihara missing the chance to give them a shoutout.

God my English is atrocious. You get what I mean though. Do we know if the 3 idiots are still C-ranks or did they already move up?

>The 3 idiots
>Anywhere near good enough to be B-rank
Doubt it.

Yeah but they were already at around 3k points if I remember correctly, I think they should have managed to get into B-ranks in the weeks Tamakoma 2 fought in the rank war.

Thank.
So 5 round of 18 is finished and they are that hight and I think it will be 3 invasion arc between the breaks.
This will be a very long arc(and I like it).

thanks, bro

author comments pls

Your contribution to miwaposting is much appreciated, user.

I'm pretty sure there's only one round left until the next A-rank test.

in the BnHA thread

thank you

They were better than Osamu was when he joined. Though their rank 1v1 war strategy of fighting people weaker than them probably has diminishing returns. I wouldn't be surprised if they lost a bunch of points to Yuma on his way up either. He was in a bit of a hurry, so farming some weaklings who had a bunch of points seems like something he'd do.

They actually have higher overall stats than Osamu. Even if Yuma got 1000 points from each idiot they had about a months to gain points and they were the best C-ranks excluding Yuma/Chika so they should have achieved B-ranks.

Can't get enough of our egdeboy Miwa

Thanks. Really curious how Osamu will do it.

>Fuck this, I'm done. I'm so done.

She really is a gamer.

Yeah, they both go to a fancy girl's school.

As cute as it is, it kinda takes some of the sheen off of the inevitable osamu/katori hatesex doujins.

not that I'm still not anxiously awaiting them.

Do you guys remember all the Characters that appear in World Trigger? I can't really keep up with all the people in the cast.

Nah, selection is in mid March so it will only be a few more matches

I can but I'm also a pretty active in the WT discussions so I'm used to referring to various characters and remembering them. If I were just reading it on my own I probably wouldn't remember the names of characters outside the principle cast.

I personally can. Some takes more time than others. What I do like is that the characters always get a new character info box when they are reintroduced. It helps teach you names of the characters.

Like the names? No but I know who they are.

They have low B-rank stats already.
Or very high C-rank. There's no real difference.

Almost. If they're even a little bit significant I can recognize them. I can name nearly all of those characters as well.

Only C-rankers in the audience? I guess nobody expected much from these teams

>Mad Katori

Remember that the three of them are good at working together and even with the single Trigger slots they had, were able to successfully take out a superior (relatively) foe. Give them more Trigger slots and experience fighting in Rank Wars and I can easily see them dominate the Lower Group and competing fairly well with the Middle Group.

A-ranks (and some B) were fighting off Galapoula.

I mean, all the people who know the deal with Tamakoma-2 aren't going to get anything out of Yuuma wiping up the Lower Group B-Ranks. There's not much information to gain from watching one-sided stomps so on top the A and B-Ranks not being interested there's probably not a lot of value in it.

You see them coming out in full force once T-2 start fighting people who can sort of match them.

Only that this match would have been really valuable to watch, T-2 revealed quite a few pretty innovative things.

>Thanks to Osamu's wires, Yuma seizes the opportunity to cut down Katori in the remaining seconds
>remaining seconds
Was the match really that close to being a time-out like in round 4? There definitely seemed to be a lot more idle time especially in the beginning, but I don't recall anything being said about the time limit.

It'll be interesting to see who attend's T2's next match

I don't believe it was.

I never read these "series overview" pages.

Was there anything T-2 showed that couldn't just be watched over in recorded logs later? Not really. T-2 is annoying to fight but they have a big reputation now, which means their logs are going to be scrutinized once matches are decided.

Besides, this was a night match and A/B Ranks are typically busy with other things, as we see with Arashiyama and Ninomiya.

Then nobody would need to actually watch any match live. And some of the top squads were fighting off Gala as said so they couldn't watch the match.

The thing about the logs is that they don't have the commentary.
And sometimes this is what you are after.
If you're not as good at analyzing for example. Or just to enjoy people talking about stuff happening.

>Then nobody would need to actually watch any match live.
I mean, there isn't really a need to in the first place? It might help, especially if you need every little edge you can get, but you're still going to get more out of poring over logs and watching them at your own pace.

I'm pretty sure people just show up to watch fights, pass time, or sate idle curiosity.

Is that confirmed? It doesn't seem very difficult to have commentary tracks laid over the fight.

The commentary isn't saved, only the video log of the match itself. One of the main commentators (might be the same one at this match) illegally saves all the logs though.

The match ended when Katori was defeated. The final seconds aren't referring to the actual time put time but the time when the match ended due to objective completion

>Is that confirmed

Yep. BBF.

>One of the main commentators

The little operator that makes free time for the matches does.
And she makes people give her a favor if they want to listen to the commentary.

These bi-weekly threads are the only reason I know the names of the non-captain members of the opposing teams in this round.

I don't know the names but I know their role in the story

I think it's been typical for most of the audience to be C-rank.

Glad it was something simple and effective instead of something impossibly crazy.

I wonder how he'll step up his Spider game when other teams start coming up with counters to his current strategies.

A-Class and B -class teams too busy with patrols or with work/school to watch the rank wars.

I do. I translate and typeset this manga every week. The human brain is a rather impressive thing.

I think that ideally Osamu and Yuma aren't both 1v3 and working together, so that the slow pace Hyuse mentioned becomes important while enemy teams are looking for the wires.

So they're basically just useless meat shields for Katori like they showed this match

Without those shield Katori isn't worth shit.

B e s t b o y

>Not know that Tanks make the dps valiable

I don't think so. Afro guy saved her once, and she saved him, but glasses was useless all around and couldn't even help her take down Osamu

Meat shielding for best girl is always a priority

I don't.

I can't remember the name or face of that third chucklefuck from Kazama squad. I know Kazama and Kikuchihara but not that other guy.

My heart is too fragile to see a poignant Katori.

FUCK Hana (figuratively).

Remember who you are, Katori.
