As most of you know we had a bit of a snafu with the last chapter. The translator must have been really tired and fallen asleep most of the way through the translation process. That would have been okay but then thread death happened and I didn't have a TL for the last 10 pages. I waited a couple days hoping to see a post from the TL but never saw anything. So I started hitting up friends to see if anyone could TL. It took me a couple weeks but my buddy Aoitenshi agreed to help out. I was typesetting the last couple of pages when someone linked me to a post from the TL where he mentioned that he had gone ahead and put the last ten pages on pastebin. I just finished up typesetting and checking and posted it to batoto:
That said I downloaded raws for ch 51 this morning but I would like to coordinate with Takamiya-kun and the Translator before posting them so we can avoid any similar hassles in the future. So TkatT, please get hold of me (rtwpsom2) on irchighway, rizon, or batoto and we'll coordinate when I post the next chapter. If I haven't heard from him by Saturday I will post it then in the hopes that he sees it and has time to typeset it.
Oh wow, I didn't realize there was a chapter last month. I thought Mizunagi had gone into seclusion again. Good job rtwpsom2, hopefully Takamiya-kun and the Translator gets a hold of you soon.

I just realised that book 6 of WCW had been ouit for a while and the scan had interesting info as usual.
Honoka: He offered his own life to undo the damage to the city and all the people killed by it. Ayaka then stopped him dying, by undoing the original connection that had Ayaka basically tapping into Honkoa's life force to fuel her own magic powers. That means she pumped life back into him that she originally had been sapping, thus ensuring that he survives. The implication is that Ayaka had been invincible thus far because she got so much damn energy from Honoka, and that by returning it all it was enough to actually used to repair the city's damage and restore the dead civilians.
Certain parts of the city was not repaired, because they were destroyed by extremely powerful magic. This included the Babel Tower. This was actually why Kazane blamed Medusa for her home being blown up; Medusa was capable of doing that kind of damage, and as such Kazane assumed it was her who was the cause, not knowing about the White Witch being released.
Ayaka: Her emotional bond with Honoka has means of increasing her own magical reserves, and that was why she was wearing his shirt. She does not wear Honoka's clothes as a fetish. However, the Imouto DOES wear Honoka's clothes from time to time, and it IS her fetish. (!!!!)
Ayaka had set up a contract-release to return all her magic powers to Hokoka for an emergency, for when she needed to save his life. She had assumed that it would likely mean she wouldn't survive the process, so there was no plan to do it more than once. She took a while to re-awaken because she was worried that if she take back the magic from Honoka too quickly, that it might harm him. That's why she stayed unconscious for a while. (Thus the kiss was unrelated.)
Ethan Cox
Medusa: She showed up in battle to rescue her subordinates. She barely noticed the Imoutou and had no intension to save her, she was there to save the KMM. She was wearing an office lade outfit and tried to hide her hair and tail, but she failed to pass any of her job interviews because she is still walking around with magic handcuffs that she couldn't remove or disguise.
Kazane: During the Weekend arc she was actually not imprisoned at all and could escape at any time. Atori was the one who visit her and gave her all the tools for making dolls. And in the mean time keeping Kazane informed of all the events taking place. Kazane was fully recovered after 20 hours but decided to stay for the entire week just because she think it is fair for "losing". And that if her followers and daughter couldn't stop Honoka from being taken, it just couldn't be helped. (Witches are crazy!)
Weekend: She was surprised that Honoka didn't die in the manner that she had planned. But then she got impulsive and stabbed him. She immediately regretted it and it seems Weekend does have a weakness of acting emotionally. (So it seems she healed his wounds because she never planned to kill him that way, and that if he had died from that stab her plans would fail.)
Jace Campbell
Weekend's bombs: Weekend pre-cast explosive spells across the city, which she activate via a remote switch. This is how she conserve magic powers in battle, and she had placed the bombs in every part of town so she could fight everywhere. Note that she is quite capable of casting and using explosive spells immediately after setting them up, and in those cases she doesn't need an activation switch to detonate. And all her magic summon creatures are all bombs themselves and can be detonated as an emergency measure.
Weekend's regeneration: Regeneration spell heals witches. But the greater the damage the greater the magic spent regenerating, and the longer it takes. And it is not possible to cast attacking spells at the same time as regenerating.
Weekend's Minions Weekend is a senior witch but she hates other senior witches. That is why all her followers are young witches. That is also why she respects young witches on the opposing side.
Nathaniel Torres
>Her emotional bond with Honoka has means of increasing her own magical reserves, and that was why she was wearing his shirt. She does not wear Honoka's clothes as a fetish. However, the Imouto DOES wear Honoka's clothes from time to time, and it IS her fetish. (!!!!)
Wow, Imouto is a very shy step away from becoming Anna if she ever sexually awakens or starts feeling lust.
Witches are crazy indeed. Then again, women are crazy by nature, it's only natural that giving them supernatural powers that only things we would call gods would have would make them even less sane. Anyone who knows pic related can attest to that. Even the witches in Little Witch Academia are crazy

Okay, this is getting crazy, we got more on Weekend...
She was once an unremarkable witch who once met the White Stuff, and became obsessed with her powers of creation and destruction. Weekend tried very hard to learn magic of the type Evermillion had, but she didn't have a large magic reserve and wasn't particularly talented either. So her apprenticeship days was unremarkable.
But then she started participating in human wars. Not as a magic user but as a human soldier. This is quite common for witches, with 3B6 and Kazane doing the same. But then Weekend developed and used what she eventually mastered as a type of magical nuke that ended up killing actual witches in these human wars. And she got so brazen trying to master her magic for warfare that normal humans start dying in her hands as collateral.
Weekend's destructive powers in these wars start to be noticed by higher ups in Witch society, and it was decided that she should be promote and join the other powerful witches at the end of the world. The place where everyone is immortal and can study magic together. Anyone who was invited to go to that place is known to be a great witch and be recorded in history forever. It is suppose to be a great honour to be invited and it is many witches' life goal.
Weekend, however, rejected the invitation for unknown reasons.
(In the view of other witches) Weekend is obsessed with THIS world, not the next. She want to control, rule, and destabilise the world she is in and had no intention of leaving.
Thus the society named her an End Witch. End Witches lose all their rights, property and titles, and assassins are sent where ever they are found. This is why Weekend disappeared from public view and did everything in the shadows, because she needed to stay away from the public eye to carry out her own plans.
Blake Mitchell
Weekend spent the next few decades before she finally found Evermillion's current host. She then spent a whole year setting up magic nukes across the whole city. After Kazane found one of the magic nukes, Germany demanded that Kazane let the Geman assasins to enter her city to hunt and kill Weekend. Kazane refused to cooperate, because she knew only Weekend can disarm the nukes, and the assasins would do massive amounts of damage to the city by trying to attack her. Kazane insisted that she would handle Weekend using her own forces. To enforce it she actually banned ALL witches from entering her city for the entire duration of the conflict. This is why German troops were no where to be found.
And finally, we know that Kazane is herself an End Witch. Why does she have so much power and still has so much influence, and not a wanted criminal? That is something to be revealed in the future.
Ayden Ward
You know, I can't help but wonder why witches would get involved in a war between humans especially when a majority of them are female. You'd think it would raise human eyebrows that this seemingly human woman just tore through a battalion on her own? I mean 3B6 and Kazane clearly fought in world war 2
William Murphy
>You know, I can't help but wonder why witches would get involved in a war between humans especially when a majority of them are female. You'd think it would raise human eyebrows that this seemingly human woman just tore through a battalion on her own? I mean 3B6 and Kazane clearly fought in world war 2 It was clear that it was not about trying to change the tides of battle, it is just something witches do for fun. Basically they play dead after being stabbed or shot. But then Weekend go overboard and took the wars seriously.
Nathan Brown
That's a lot of text for one page
Owen Diaz
Would you bang Honoka if you could be guaranteed Ayaka wouldn't kill or hurt you?
Austin Powell
That makes me wonder if they killed any stragglers after the battle was over like pickpockets and, believe it or not, necrophiliacs that came there to get their freak on.
Also, they clearly don't value human life, so why hide from them? Sure there's the witch trails from the old days but it's very clear there's not a single thing us humans could ever do to a witch seriously and they could rule the world with us as breeding stock and slaves if they wanted. Do they just like watching Game of Thrones and shit?
Asher Lee
No. I'm straight. However I'd bang Ayaka if I was guaranteed Ayaka wouldn't kill or hurt me.
Isaac Clark
>Also, they clearly don't value human life, so why hide from them? Oh dear, I didn't realise you were going to typeset? Because I skipped info that we already know, like the fact that 3B6 was patiently waiting for the seals to break on its own because she would rather not confront Ayaka in battle, but she has other reasons too. And the description of Atori being there to steal Tanpopo's Animal ears screen time, that she use ventriloquism to talk through her puppet, and that her puppet speak in a hotblooded style.
And there is Nietzsche, who used the power of the water mirror to copy Imouto's powers and made a black Macaroon. And then got defeated by Medusa's petrification.
(I didn't add them earlier because it is old info that we already know by reading the manga.)
Levi Brown
>Also, they clearly don't value human life, so why hide from them? They have nothing to gain from humans. And in many cases witches can suddenly be born from human parents. So it is not in the interest of Witches to harm or enslave humans. Human society is left alone and scouts are sent to identify and recruit new witches that are born.
Humans are not enslaved because witches have no need for human slaves. There is a segregation going on, for the benefit of mortals.
Nolan Murphy
>Because I skipped info that we already know I have no idea how I'd fit it on the page. Kanji is convenient in that regard.

Oh, and they named the "end of the world" as アルティマシュリ.
I am certain that there is an official English term for it. And that it is out there somewhere. Do you know about it?

I'm pretty sure all that had been translated/known before, I can definitely remember it being posted in the past. No one knows the exact english equivalent of "アルティマシュリ", but it would be something like Ultimashuri or Ultimasuri.
Something I've never seen mentioned or posted ever in the WCW threads (that I can remember), it's short for Ultimashuria or Ultimasuria, which is the mystical city/location past "the ends of the world" where the Workshop high HQ is located.
"Workshop Witches" as a group/title is a shortening in and of itself. The full title of the Workshop contigent and any witch beloning to it is "The Witches of The Workshop of Ultimashuria". My guess would be that "Tower witches" are short for "The Witches of the Ivory Tower" going by what little we know of Kill Wizard and the 'verses past.
Another thing I haven't seen mentioned: We KNOW what a "Walpurgisnacht/Walpurgis Night" is in the WCW universe, as in what 3B6 is waiting for for her plans to commence. She defines it herself when she first(?) appears in the manga, meeting Kazane in the cafe', a Walpurgisnacht is an "all out war among witches and witch factions". She expects one to break out once the truth gets out about Honoka over owning/killing him, and that's why she's breaking his seals.
Also, she makes love umbrellas with her and Kazane's names, for those who like fuel over what their past relationship was like.
Ethan Long
Who's Kazane again?
Brandon Lopez
Ayaka's mom

So they were official lovers or something?

Obviously it's too late now, but if the thread is still up around 9:00 est, I'd say post it then. Or start a new one 'round that time otherwise. I'll work on it and post from work.
