ssomeone knows why jcafe24 doesnt works? or some info about it? i know this its out of question
It died cause they stopped giving money to the server. No one was going there anymore aniway.
Yes.
>Treats everyone else's kids well
>Places his own son as far away place so he can completely forget about him
Ainz is terrible dad
I feel sorry for little PA
Except for PA who is different for him and looking at the slavishly loyal character of everyone: yes.
I mean he cares about them, wants them to develope in their own way (some paths might be seen as evil, but still) and he wants to protect them even at teh risk of losing his own life.
If PA acted like a baby like Albedo did, would Ainz let him sit in his lap?
He might wanna avoid the Ainz Reich and you can't really judge him for that.
Yes. yes, if you think that not caring if your own child dies while saving your friends' childs is being a good father.
That scene with PA made me feel really sorry for him.
Did you even read the scene? He does not want to show favoritism because he considers all of them to be his children.
Hm? What scene?
He does care about him, but if he has to he will rather sacrifice him rather than the kids of his friends.
If you think of him as a father who adopted his friends children after they died it is somewhat noble to not show favouritism.
What do you guys think Ainz looked like when he was Satoru?
He just said that to PA to avoid others think he is favoring PA since he sees PA as his son now. He actually regrets and feels bad saying that.
LN said he was an average man, and the Sword of Darkness members thought he looked like an old uncle. Considering most artists are unable to draw an average looking person, he is either a cute or an abomination. I bet he was a cute.
Average japanese guy in his early 30s?
Wait, was Satoru using his actual irl face as his Momon illusory face?
We have to remember that Ainz/Satoru comes from an ultrapolluted future-dystopia where he lives day to day needing a gas mask in order to go outside and he lives on reconstituted meat broth that may or may not be isolated sewage protein (which does indeed exist now).
Average to him may be a pock-marked ghoul of a person to us.
Yes, thats why he felt a bit down after they said he is an uncle.
I guess they would've reacted different if he looked so badly, they only said he isn't handsome.
The more you analyze, the more you see how shit is Satoru's world. No wonder he doesn't have any intent of returning back there.
And Ainz noted how the NW really doesn't seem to have "ugly" people among the populace.
The 8GKs fucked all the ugly out of them.
coz the ugly one already genocided by 8GK
True, he has nothing to live for in the real world, but he has the living memories of his friends with him in the new world. It is basically a dystopian capitalistic future.
Honestly always pictured he would've looked like this.
"That's the problem with the American Dream. It came true."
How about joing wargames between Enri's WAAAGH and ,say, Lizards + spare skeletons commanded by Cocytus?
Ainz Ooal Gown didn't have any characters with Commander classes, Enri might be a fine addition after leveling up a little.
new part out
*now complete: It is basically a dystopian capitalistic future where he came from and now it is a fucked up world, but he has the power to change it to create something better.
Place your bets on how soon Demi's Happy Farm will undermine Ainz Utopia.
He IS doing that, by the way.
PDFs when
>Ainz Ooal Gown didn't have any characters with Commander classes
>Who is Punitto Moe
The idea of mixed races is kinda defeating the racism don't you think? No, but seriously he just has to make sure nobdoy finds out or if they find it blame Jaldabaoth and kill him.
Sasuga Nigel-dono!
He had commander IRL abilities, like leadership skills etc.
He didn't have any commander classes.
This mentioned in prologue when full guild was storming Nazarick for the first time and they had to sync up between groups after one-to-one whisper.
It was said that Commander classes could create a conference of sorts to strenthen communication.
The back of his head looked like that.
Nigel > Ainz
キターーー(゜∀゜)ーーーー!!!!!
...
I personally think it's because the people there don't have acid rain made out of actual acid.
This makes me think; did Momonga as a character in YGGDRASIL start out as a level 1 skeleton mage, or was he actually human and race changed over to undead in his earlier levels?
lvl 1 skelly.
He was a skeleton mage. If he were human he'd have job levels through and through.
> “Your Majesty, I am grateful for this meeting with you, and the opportunity to learn of your thoughts.”
Sasuga Ainz-sama.
Mind linking the pastebins? Last I saw, there were only 7 parts of chapter 1 translated.
Truly a master sausage maker. Like any german should
There's the website that was posted a while back that has the paste bins, take a look in a book for the reading rainbow man
Do not understand why he reacted that way, Ainz hardly said anything to gain his trust, at best he simply said "I will not kill you or take your job"
overlordvolume10.blogspot.com.br
keep it secret, keep it safe
Google it
But he also mentioned that he was planning to have people work up to Momon levels, or at least try to. He told them that they have potential.
can't wait for Ainz to figure out Enri is the only commander class in all the sorcerous kingdom
Albedo "I wonder what kind of country he wants"
PA "What kind of country do you want?"
Ainz "uh I'll uh... I'm figuring it out."
Inspiration goes a long way.
I feel like this is a quote from a book or comic. Is it?
user you may have sold us out to FBI-kun or Mossad-kun
No idea user, but normally named side characters die in horrible term.
just think of IMPOSSIBURU guy
Did Monak relax because he was admiring Momon's greatness in seeing potential within adventurers?
Or was in his mind the idea that Ainz was weary of Momon since he talked about wanting genuine loyalty in the next great hero?
Or maybe he imagined that in the far future humanity would give rise to another hero that could challenge Ainz?
Or was it just literal admiration to Ainz?
>Ainz had been planning to bring the Katze Plains under his dominion in the near future. Of particular note were the rumors of a ship that cruised along the land, which piqued Ainz’s interest.
GHOST PIRATES CONFIRMED!
Yes
>Or maybe he imagined that in the far future humanity would give rise to another hero that could challenge Ainz?
He just learned that Ainz does not want to fucking murder them all and is planning to nurture the humans up to Momon's glory.
Muh dick!
LotR gandalf about the ring it was in the movie user
Yes because I'M SURE the fucking fbi and mossad can't find a goddamn blogspot site created with a free account that is regularly posted in nearly every thread on a certain imageboard that anyone can access
we knew about this before though, can't remember when
>ainz will eventually acquire a floating ghost ship
I think the operative phrase was the question, "should not a father be surpassed by his son?"
He's trusting his own mission of safeguarding his adopted children co-equal with PA, putting him outside the to-be-protected category into doing the protecting and respective risk that entails.
That's the coolest shit ever.
DO WHAT YOU WANT FOR A PIRATE IS FREE
YOU ARE A PIRATE
>we knew about this before though, can't remember when
Evileye, Climb and Gagaran's idle talk from Vol.5, I think.
I don't think he was thinking that far ahead, he just wanted an excuse to get PA to not act like PA.
Which is hypocritical because he's fine with even eldritch horrors like neuronist existing because they are his friends creations but his own creation is the only one whose behavior he won't tolerate.
Isn't he a little hard on himself?
Brace yourself, pirate lich incoming.
It's from volume 7.
>There were plenty of infamous Elder Liches such as the captain of a ghost ship which glided across the fog of Kattse Plains, or an Elder Lich which ruled over an abandoned castle. If it was an Elder Lich, then it wasn’t strange to think it would be the master of the tomb.
plss dont encourage spoonfeeding user
I'm really looking forward to Ainz's diplomatic relations and recruitment efforts towards native sapient undead.
He's embarrassed of how chuuni he is because that's still within the bounds of his human comprehension. Any shock, disgust, or fear he has for anyone like Neuronist is simply suppressed, like when he wondered whether he would feel anything from killing a person in the beginning.
>There were literal mountains of gold in the Great Underground Tomb of Nazarick, but those were not Ainz’s personal funds. While the NPCs would all agree that all the wealth in Nazarick belonged to Ainz, he did not want to use that money on a personal project.
Good to know that. I was worried that he almost wasted all Nazarick's money with Alfredo's subordinates but it seems it was his own money.
>Ainz is going to hold true to his words and take Moknak under his wing.
>Ainz uses his team to run through a beta test of the Explorer's League systems.
>Moknak ends up as the leader of the first Adamantite party that E-Rantel domestically produced.
>Rainbow team becomes good enough that the Sorcerer King agrees to pass the mantle of Enforcer to Moknak behest of Momon as he viewed him to be a person of sufficient skill and character for the job.
>To this day, Momon's flowing red cape is passed on from enforcer to enforcer.
Well, either they join up or end up not undead.
This always being Ainz stance towards monsters.
I see.
They'd better not call themselves Undying Kings.
>>To this day, Momon's flowing red cape is passed on from enforcer to enforcer.
That sounds so cheesy I love it make it happen Maruyama.
"They'll bend the knee or I'll destroy them."
Keep in mind that he was used to being ruled by Kingdom's nobles and this man effectively had a knife pressed to everyone's throats.
He is a person more powerful than their King ever was.
This man is telling you that he wishes to save your dying organisation and that he wishes to cultivate your children and grandchildren into being heroes instead of just using them as slaves.
In short, he had low standards and even lower expectations and it's pretty much unimaginable for him to ever talk to royalty.
Usually you'd get summoned by royalty if they ever, but this one appeared right at their doorstep, which gives an impact.
It is like talking to a man who can change the world and realising that he's actually not just sitting in his ivory tower and that he is actually interested in the people below him.
>they have no knees
Also Zuranon. They'll either practically throw their allegiance onto his lap before he even realizes it, or get uppity and get stomped on in a lazy afternoon.
Basically Ainz played on the fact that Moknak worshipped Momon, and then said that Moknak or his descendants could be the next Momon, and that he values them for it.
Much like how he sent the slum residents out to build the life they always wanted, he's giving them hope.
Sasuga Ainz-sama.
Truly the best leader. Can other leaders even compete?
They better go find some quick.
They can, but they choose not to.
Stop asking for sauage. These fucking newfags gonna ruin everything we had.
And dont spoonfeed him either
Overlord threads have been ruined for some time, user.
I didn´t expect Ainz to be able of charming that adventurer, all that time acting in his room is giving fruits.
I don't remember reading this, what volume is it from?
Well, with Kingdom, you would always hit a wall.
Nobles protect their status and privileges jealously, so that route is pretty much blocked as even offering lordship to Momon caused grumbling amongst the nobles.
City dwellers get hit by protection rackets.
Dirt Farmers are piss poor and get most of their crops taxed.
If you are strong, your options are either to get tangled with politics, join eight fingers or leave the country.
Kingdom did nothing to nurture it's citizens and much to repress their growth.
Directly stated in the short story that came with the BDs and solidly hinted throughout volume 1.
Who gives a damn about the threads.
I'd rather Nigel didn't get in trouble because you decided to let girls into our secret clubhouse.
Ah I haven't read the short stories or the audio dramas. I should get on that.
1st Drama Cd is good, 2nd one is ok, 3rd one is meh 4th one is hilarious
Can't be helped, no one can resist these bones.
Are the audio dramas translated in writing somewhere or what?
