I'm kind of surprised at how seemingly dedicated Toriyama is to this pairing. He has it introduced in BoG and has it casually namedropped in RoF but it's completely cut from the recap episodes in Super so we all think it's gone then the second we focus on Trunks, oh look, it's ToraMai pairing again. The weird thing especially is that if you haven't seen the movies this is going to feel like it comes out of nowhere
