Every success communism claims is taking a nearly completely agrarian peasant economy and making it industrialized at all. Russia, Ukraine, China, Eastern Europe, etc etc.

Those massive gains from industrialization might have happened a couple years later if communism didn't happen, but that industrialization was going to happen. And it would have created a much healthier real economy with better raised living standards for everyone compared to what communism did.

Even communism's 'success' are just mirages.
