ITT shows that LITERALLY saved anime

...

...

Evangelion saved anime because it made Sunrise create a much better show named GaoGaiGar as a response

...

ITT: Shit taste.

...

fuck you

Will we ever get another anime as epic as OPM?

Eva was great, yes
But GaoGaiGar was still much better

>ITT shows that LITERALLY killed anime
FTFY

>The guy who criticises everyone for shit taste doesn't say what he likes

Every time.

...

I've never seen a show that lept off the screen to take an anime away from me before I could watch it. Nor have I seen a show that could download and store its own anime. Why would you even expect a show to do that kind of thing, OP?

...

Eva and Sailor Moon revived anime, with the former introducing plot and complex characters to a world that was 99% shounen shit, after it was nearly entirely killed with the double-whammy of Akira bombing and taking half the industry down with it and the East-Asian economic collapse.

Evangelion killed anime.
the only thing that was saved were us, and Anno
not a good deal for sure.

>was nearly entirely killed with the double-whammy of Akira bombing and taking half the industry down with it
Akira bombing have absolutely no relevance in the nineties crisis. stop doing drugs

They also never say why their taste is shit, which is even more important.

No matter how bad a show is, there's someone who likes it, and no matter how good a show is, there's someone who hates it. People need to demonstrate an understanding of what makes your favorite show good, or my favorite show bad if you want your argument to get anywhere.

>he thinks Akira killed anime, not saved it

I can't wait for fall.

...

Quality wise it was second to none. The problem was that it a) set the bar so high that almost nothing could top it (hell, I still think it hasn't been topped) and b) it was so high-budget there was no way to get their money back, and it was a financial disaster, even if it sowed the seeds for future growth.

Cory White House de Chou Taihen!

What killed anime is japans literary culture, they have absolutely apalling writers so every show revolves around nonsensical plot/story where all the focus is on characters acting like tropes.

>killed anime
>that whole post
You obviously know nothing about anime
Please refrain from posting in addition to drinking bleach

This looks like one of those shounens but more shitty and edgy. What anime ?

Bocu no Titan

...

Anime and manga are waste of time. They are really shitty

Not a show but Nausicaa was to anime in the 80s in terms of movies and ovas what Evangelion was to series in the 90s.
