What will happen after they defeat the dragon? Will dungeon meshi continue?

let it end keep it nice and simple

They'll keep progressing through the dungeon I guess, there's still the plot about the evil magician, the fallen kingdom, the dark elf and the politics above.

Why is Laius sucha a creep?

They already drop a hint that some outside forces are trying to claim the island/dungeon.

There is a whole world outside the dungeon, its just a part of the world.

It's called dungeon meshi, though.

They will eat the dragon.

They eat dragon, the end,

I hope not.

Well, the orc boss asked Laius what he would do after becoming the king of the dungeon (or whatever was the title), and Laius said that he will think about it seriously, maybe that's the real main plot line of the series.
Also, Marcille is interested in dungeon making.

i want to feed marcille MY DICK

I fucking love his creepy as fuck but effective solutions.

...

>Laius become the king of the dungeon
>The party and his sister now have to fight him before he try to cook everything and completely destroy the ecosystem
I'd read it.

They might not even be able to save the cleric yet after they defeated the dragon.

What dragon meat would taste like?

I'm starving for a new chapter.

Nah, I'm sure she will join the cast soon (or she will just marry that guy). Having her as damsel in distress again is a bad idea.

But is it alright for them to eat it?

There's more stuff to do after the dragon, I'd say saving the sister is "chapter 1" in a story that could have easily 10+ "chapters" or arcs.

What about the dungeon itself, the stuff about elves and dwarfs claiming the dungeon, the orcs inside, the magician, everyone's backstory, etc.

It could go for a long time, but I guess the author is structuring it in a way that if it gets cancelled or needs to be ended, it can be done so at any point where there's a small conclusion.

Farlyn may have some kind of spells that protect her, or her own corpse, from being digested inside the dragon's stomach.

So it can be more easily adapted to anime, hopefully.

Of course! Eating a red dragon gives you fire immunity.

Saving his sister is just a prologue.
The whole dungeon, the sorcerer and the elf human dwarf conflict is a big deal.

theyll find a nice spot to bury marci

Will Imouto join the party?

>Red Dragon corners the party and is about to destroy them
>It inhales, there is a rumbling in its belly
>Its eyes grow wide and it begins to roar
>Farlyn bursts out of its torso like a fucking Chestburster

farlyn is cute! CUTE!

...

But according to few panels before , we can assume Farlyn has already been ded and roaming around the dungeon as a ghost. That may unlikely happen.

All the characters are really colorful and fun.

She's still alive user. That's just Laius imagining his sister because he misses her ability to keep his spaghetti in check.

We also have to encounter the party's Ron in who has been Mia since chapter 1 and was hinted at a couple chapters ago looking for Farlyne.

>I'm starving for a new chapter.
me too.

Laius will eat the dragon and become the new apex predator in the dungeon. His friends escape and more and more people enter the dungeon hoping that they would defeat Laius and lay claim upon the dungeon's treasures. The first few were unprepared, thinking Laius was but a normal human. But as Laius kills and consumes he becomes stronger and hungrier. He begins creating new breeds of monsters to satisfy his appetite. The dungeon becomes ever darker.

...

>She's still alive user

I never really thought of this, but how old is Marcille? I remember in one of the earlier chapters Chilchack says he's 29, and she scoffs saying "so you ARE young!" or something, but then, how could she have been in the same class as Farlyn when they were both training in magic? Is the school not age restricted? Or do elves not mentally mature as fast as humans do?

Not that user, but it was just the spirit making Laius think about how useless he is for not being able to save her so it could sap his energy and possess him, it wasn't directly her spirit.

Probably a combination of both. I mean, Marcille doesn't act more mature than Laius or the other party members, and she's probably the second oldest there.

>Or do elves not mentally mature as fast as humans do?
Clearly shit's different in their society. I hope they at least mature physically same way humans do, though. Just imagine if the parents had to change shitty diapers for like a decade.

Perhaps their progression is even more logarithmic than humans?
like say, the baby retard age max for humans is 4, and for elves might be the same, then elementary tier is like 10-11 humans, and about the same +1 or 2 years for elves, then highschool add 4 to 6 extra, and so on? and hence why they live longer but seem to be on par with humans in their lifestyle?

Some of the D&D elves mature physically as fast as fast as human, but are considered grown adults at 25. This is just one setting. Honestly, we had this duscussion a million times over there at /tg/ and I just don't know anymore.

Yeah, of course, it's a never ending source of skub too.
I always take it case by case, since every author has it's own interpretation.
Of course this one is fantastic because of how the author treats the lore in two levels.
They have their own universe, set on some sort of high fantasy world, but at the same time, their universe is a less idealized version of one we would think of... BUT in their universe, their idealization is the same as ours.
Dumb example, when Marcille pictures herself all beautiful she sees herself with pointy ears and shit.
So I guess I didn't say anything in the end besides the fact that I consider this interesting and that Elves might have an extended lifespan and other common elf attributes but not as exaggerated as we would expect from a high fantasy setting.

YOUR SISTER IS IN ANOTHER DRAGON

The only information we ever really got about it in that world was from the chapter where Chilchack reveals his age, which also shows that dwarves have extended lifespans just like elves do, but even with the way they word it, it's hard relate how they think being 29 is like being a child in relation to themselves.

Marcille was roughly the same SIZE as Farlyn a few years ago, so they at least mature at the same rate...for a time. It's unclear how old Marcille actually is, but considering how I think it'd be fucking weird if she was ancient when she looked younger, then weirdly had a growth spurt after she met Farlyn, I actually get the feeling she's pretty fucking young (possibly younger than Chilchack) and was only mocking Chilchack because from an Elven perspective, Chilchack IS young. She does act prideful and haughty when she has no right to several other times, so that's what I'm going with.

>29 is like being a child in relation to themselves.
Maybe she doesn't mean this in relation to her and her age, but in relation to the maximum age of her race as a whole? I can see her getting a bit haughty in this scene.

Only a wapanese translator can tell us if the translation had one or the other implicit meaning.
We could ask the group TL.

I'd like it if they kill the drago , then they travel around for a bit dragging Laius's sister's corpse for a while.
