Just get a mile or so off shore and then kill the engine and wait to get picked up by a taxpayer funded ship which costs millions per week to operate and ferries all the refugees safely to Europe where they are given food, clothing, housing, and free money just for arriving. You pay $X to people smuggler who puts on you giant inflatable craft with 100 other people to get you to 50 miles offshore or w/e to reanevous with the (((rescue))) ship that knows exactly when/where to meet you. These NGOs are recently exempted from criminal charges for their "heroic" work. It's basically a ferry service if you have the Human Smugglers "fee" to get into the inflatable.
