That would actually be pretty funny.

There have been variations in dress throughout history, but the standards of the masculine and feminine when it comes to clothing have always retained a certain tendency. This is for various reasons - for example, males and females process visual sensation differently, different bone structures, different secondary sex characteristics, etc. That in mind, if anything, what you should be saying is that there is no extraordinary reason why everyone should be locked into the same general standard. People should not give a shit what other people wear.

Since the part where we've developed clothing? Even hardly advanced tribal cultures have different default standards of dress applied to men and women. They even accentuate and take into account elementary masculine and feminine qualities such as sexual characteristics.
