Annie will switch sides, but no to the rest of that stuff. Forcing someone to torture their former comrades to prove their loyalty is more likely to make them hate and turn against you then keep them on side, and any reasonable person would know that.

A possible theory for switching sides would probably be Annie's dad being killed off-screen thus giving no reason for Annie to stay loyal to her mission. After all, it seems like Annie and her dad aren't that welcomed anyway.
