Best gpu for watching anime

sup, Sup Forums. so i finally saved enough money to buy a decent built to max out MadVR for watching anime. i dont wanna be a casual anymore with judder, 8-bit video and bicubic resizing.

So yea I dont wanna be cucked by poorly coded renderers anymore and want to have the best possible resize option and image scaling options in MadVR. I've already upgraded from my i5 4570 to a i7 6700 earlier this year.

what do you guys use to max out madvr? should i go with the 1080 or is the 1070 enough? maybe i should get the 1070 first and then sli later if the price drops

my poorfag gtx 770 just doesnt cut it anymore for a a good experience watching anime with madvr

Get and AMD FirePro professional graphics card. These are used in film editing and are actually capable of producing true 10-bit colour. They are not any more expensive than Nvidia gaming cards. An 8GB w5100 should be around $550.

I don't have a GPU and Intel graphics is enough for a medium-high setting in MadVR, I can even go higher without dropping frames.

Not the same user but I only get the 2 or 3 dropped frames from opening the episode. Settings are Bicubic and Catmull Rom with anti ringing

even tho ur rendering time seems fine
its dropping frames and has a hard time filling up the rendering queue
but it must be lagging quite hard with those numbers or did u just open it and made the screenshot without having it playing for 5 sec+

I have integrated graphics and have to run medium-low for smooth playback. But a recent episode of Luluco has gotten me worried. Pic related, the sign styling around the confetti animation causes my system to absolutely shit itself, and the player to become unresponsive until it plays through.

are you kidding me? my old qx6700 is enough to decode 1080p hevc, only downscaling 4k youtube videos make it stumble. stop relying on shitty gpu decoding.
