BK sucks except for its fries, chicken parm sandwhich and the drink machines (coke freestyle).
Wendy's is good but they get rid of their best products for some reason (their queso line of products, their ghost pepper products and their bacon ranch fries).
When pizza is cooked, most if not all of the ingredients on the pizza are heated together to a very hot and uniform temperature. When the pizza is declared done and removed from the oven, it still needs to cool to serving temperature, which delivery guys take advantage of to make the delivery. Because of the above, pizza delivery has been trivialized.
Burgers, however, are a mishmash of different ingredients that may or may not taste good when brought to uniform temperature. Lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, onions, and some bun varieties may not taste "fresh" after warming up from their own native temperatures to the patty's temperature. The bag would definitely help with retaining temperature, but it may affect taste in the process as well (french fries might "stale" and lose taste). Either way, it's not trivial.

We've had ordering kiosks with payment terminals for a couple of years now.
Newer McDonald's, Burger King, KFC all have at least a couple of them.

I used one of their kiosks a few time
I can tell you exactly what took so long.
The machines automating the food prep aren't being rolled out because ultimately they rely on people to input the order information correctly. With a person you can say "hey I messed up, don't do that" but with a machine with multiple items being coordinated, you just have to make a new order and the food goes to waste.
So they focused on automating the ordering process.
I walk in, go through touch screen after touch screen slowly imputing my order, because it can't process like a person can. Once it's all done, I swipe to pay, and sit down, and they bring out my order.
It won't speed them up, but what it DOES allow is for them to pay one less person.
That's the real reason for automation. To increase profits. McDonalds is already at 90% speed efficiency, so the only real gains they can make is by reducing the cost of employees.
An automated food prepper only comes out ahead after years.
A touch screen kiosk will come out ahead after about a month.

group homes (where 8 or so patients live, with on-site medical care) as well as cloud-based monitoring and streaming video calls.
People would do amazingly better if they could actually see their loved ones on the regular, in an environment that feels like their own.

I shit you not. I've worked to hard for my STEM degree for some useless burger flipper to get $15 an hour when the millwrights, electicians, and construction guys are getting low $20s. Fuck, im barely in the $30+ range (before overtime...salary+overtime is cuckery). These poor burger flippers piss me the fuck off.
Having worked in a job like this it's better off done by machines. There is little more humiliating than working a job like this. Comparing pay I'd rather fellate well endowed men than that.
