Has there ever been a good anime adaptation of a video game?
Has there ever been a good anime adaptation of a video game?
I am digging the Persona 3 movies so far honestly.
Street fighter 2 movie was great.
Master of Martial Hearts was a video game
...
No at the very best they are decent
This includes VN adaptations
Persona 4 was surprisingly competent.
Too bad about Devil Survivor 2.
They are garbage you are just personafags that would eat a bag of shit with persona written on it
I liked that old Sonic OVA and the Professor Layton movie
This one was pretty cool too, plus that ol time fap to Chun-li's shower scene
Gungrave.
Ironically when it focuses on stuff not in the source it is way better.
Tales of Vesperia: First Strike is also a pretty solid movie precisely because it doesn't focus on the actual game's plot.
I liked Rockman EXE
>that would eat a bag of shit with persona written on it
yeah, it was called persona 4
Tower of Druaga is pretty good, it's more Chaika like than video game style
...
It's called God Eater
Neptunia worked really well as an anime series. A lot more enjoyable than the shitty games, at least.
i never knew my grandma went through so much trouble just to make me apple pie
The Professor Layton movie was decent enough
Fuck you reused assets grinding simulator is top tier.
>Persona past 2
>Good
P2 was mediocre
fucking banned
And yet still better written than P3 and P4.
The only reason people play P3 and 4 was the dating sim and nothing more.
>implying
Persona 2 was a boring grindfest with a clusterfuck plot.
P3 was better than 2 in story and gameplay. No one gives a shit about P2.
t.pleb
The gameplay was still shit and had some forced retarded AI that even setting to tactics doesn't change much.
>better in story
Yeah having a laugh mate, that corny predictable shounen tier story was awful.
>that even setting to tactics doesn't change much.
I dunno what game you played but it sure as hell did a lot to me.
>It didn't happen to me so never happened to anyone
I'm not even bullshiting, it's a common thing in P3 and many people suffered from it.
Pokemon
This. Yukari cannot prioritize healing. Like at all.
Out of all the atelier games why did gust make an anime for Escha
Well I dunno, most people I've seen complaining about it didn't even realize you could set your party tactics.
That's usually the first question I see asked when people talk shit about the AI in P3. "Did you try changing your party tactics?"
...
Chisa, Miaya, and Ruruka all look like they'll get offed mid series from character design alone.
So these guys are the confirmed other characters, right? Man, I can't even imagine what the body count will be like in each mystery, if at all.
Why is it that the Dangan Ronpa designs look ugly as fuck when animated? They look nothing like their actual appearances in-game.
>mystery,
They're chunking this, aren't they? Like it's just going to be everyone falling asleep and then waking up to find another person dead. So it's going to be one long mystery rather than multiple ones.
They gave Chisa the spotlight in the second PV so she's probably important.
Miaya is suspicious.
>no confirmed VA.
>helped with the New World Program.
>implying he isn't actually dead
They also gave Sayaka an important role in the demo and she's like the first fucking murder.
You're right about Miaya though. The "cool" girls tend to have important roles in this series.
I will never get accustomed to this franchise character designs
To be fair, she originally was important in the earlier concepts for the game that eventually became DR, but the devs go sick of her so they offed her fast.
>Rie Kugimiya voicing a nigger
What?
But also, will he be tsun?
