ITT: Characters only you like.

This was back when the manga was still just about salvageable. When did it go so wrong?

This group straight up killed the series.

Killed all of the tolerable/fun characters except Leone.

I think Takahiro killing all of the interesting Night Raid members was what killed it. He had a fairly interesting world, and some nice characters, but he keeps shafting them to focus on Akame and Tatsumi.

Even for Wild Hunt, we had some pretty interesting things that could've been explained:
>Cosmina and her apparent witch powers
>Dorothea and her use of Alchemy, or other things involving the Western Kingdom
>Why Izou was apparently strong enough to make up for any losses Wild Hunt gained.

Instead they got used to help hype up the main characters again and to push back the Kurome/Akame fight.

>He had a fairly interesting world
In what way? It's seriously one of the most bland fantasy settings I've seen.

I thought he was funny.

True. Fairly interesting wasn't the right word.

More like, "It's not complete dogshit". He could've done a lot more with it. The Empire seems to be a cultural hotpot, what with Scheele dressing like a chinese chick.

No. Syura was making the series interesting. Literally Syura dying is what killed the manga.

Probably the biggest "Oh shit" moment I've had with this manga was when Syura managed to capture Tatsumi and Lubbock

He was way smarter than some give him credit for.

Hope this artist does hentai soon.

The alchemist girl was cute.

People don't like Foxy? I thought he was enjoyable since he was the first (if not the only) one piece villain who mainly relied on tactics.

...

It was still going strong at that time. Series died out not when the anime came out but around the time Rabac and Shura died because that's when the shit writing really became shit.

You're quite possibly that Izoufaglord. No one cares your shit opinion and this was a cancerous group.

>Being THIS buttblasted about Lubbock's death

Kek.

This pretty much encapsulates why the series died.

Mine a shit.

Couldn't care less about Lubbock, but Shit Hunt was still terrible.

Holy shit, can we talk about Budo for a second?

>Was protecting politicians from Honest
>Said to be on Esdeath's level, or at least pretty damn close
>Was a pretty fair guy, gave Wave a shot to beat Syura's ass, stopped it before he went too far
>Outright said he would kill Honest as soon as his duty as a soldier was done
>Was just a guy fighting for his country
>Night Raid sees killing him as a great thing

Best girl

Best waifu

Best clothing

I think Koichi is underappreciated.
He's a great subversion of the pissy side-kick archetype.

...

People can't handle the fact she's effectively just a better Hanekawa who enjoys being better than everyone else.

>Teleporting Martial Artist
>Pirate
>Fat Black Clown
>Lolita Vampire Alchemist
>Playboy Bunny Idol
>Samurai
>Implying this is worse than Shit Raid

Whatever you say boss.

Actually, even Night Fail is better than them which is something.

Night Raid is only better because Lubbock is hard carrying them.
