Bitch, Elizabeth is a literal goddess with revival powers. Meliodas will get revived sooner or later. The point of this plot is to buff up human characters and the other sins so they don't have to depend on Mel and Escanor to do everything.

I never liked the inclusion of the samurai. References to lands outside of Britannia cheapen the conflict, since who knows how strong things like demons are on a global scale. Could be that just a little bit to the east there are holy vikings fighting against an onslaught of Eotena who eat demons for breakfast.

Any word on the other VAs? I'm hoping Galan will be voiced by the guy that voices Brook.

To be honest other than Escanor and Meliodas, none of the 7 sins can actually fight the 10 commandments. Even Escanor will get shit on if he was ganged up by the other 8 and especially by Estarossa.

No, there's still a possibility. Deldrey's VA (Emiri Kato) voiced one of the kids from the Capital of the Dead, so they do reuse VAs.

The problem is that Escanor can only use that kind of power for a limited amount of time. I think peak Escanor should be stronger than Estarossa, but if Estarossa can stall for a while like Dolor and Glox managed to do against Mel he would eventually gain the upper hand. Mel also knew about their powers and was very aggressively trying to kill them, whereas daytime-Escanor is always pretty calm and overconfident.

Well, let's look at the commandments we have left

So far, none of them have exhibited any characteristics to associate them with any of the commandments. Gloxinia's "repose" commandment feels kind of tacked on, and so does Merascylla's "Faith" commandment since it has nothing to do with "Thou shalt have no other gods before me"

And yet h could not one shot Glox and Dolor. That was the power stored the morning so nothing like his 28K. You are overrating Escanor.

I think Nakaba realized that some of the actual 10 commandments would be very hard to fit into the story in any meaningful way and made some changes.

We don't really know what kind of players exist in the world. The tournament arc introduced a handful of characters like the samurai that seem to be stronger than base Hendy and Dreyfus during the Liones arc. Of course he's nowhere near commandment level alone, but the Pleiades showed that it's possible to do some damage to a commandment if you work as a team. I recall Matrona also being somewhat similar to Galan in terms of power level so the giants might show some promise as well, not the mention the druids who have anti-demon abilities.

Dolor is the progenitor of the Giant Clan, so maybe he's the "honour thy father" commandment.

I hope we eventually find out more about the wider world of Seven Deadly Sins beyond Britannia.
