Kamina had an effect that lasted on his comrades for years to come

I'm retarded user, what the fuck is a jobber?

This fishman right here

future trunks should be in that list

ur mum

To job is for a character to lose as a means of showing how strong another character is.

A jobber is a character who loses numerous times to show how strong other characters are.

...

I think the most glaring example of a character jobbing was Frieza jobbing to Trunks.

After being the villain of a long grueling arc, he's brought back to life in the most contrived of ways and arrives on Earth with the intent to destroy. Then Trunks intercepts him and beats him easily, showing the audience that Trunks is really really powerful.

There's two meaning on Sup Forums
first one is this . In this category madara who gets killed to show how the next vilain is strong is an huge jobbing
second is a character, despite being strong and able to win most of his fights, loses because plot conveniences.
For exemple Accel loses to touma only because plot, he could have throw something at the speed of light on touma and kills him.
Gil loses to shirou only because plot, his "ego" doesn't allow him to use EA, he doesn't wear his armor, no enkidu etc.

why would you put torterra there? that's a fucking pokemon and it's not even a fucking anime personality/character

Can someone photoshop Yamcha in so it looks like Vegeta is standing on him? That'd be pretty apt.

The King of Jobbers, Gilgamesh, should have a big picture in the middle.

The King of Jobbers of course.

No matter how much they wank him now about how great he is, with his clairvoyance, perfect hard counter to everything ever and his ancient babylonian fighter jet.
The fact of the matter is that he was still beaten by some little no-name faggot and continued to job in every other route as well.

You need to add Jerid on there for sure. Literally all he does is job.

Pokemon can be jobbers.

Kakyouin is the main reason they find out Dio stand true ability

i dont think kazuma (yu yu hakuso) is a jobber though. at least in the tv series he manage to win some of the important fight.

i think..... i forgot, its been too long =/

Fuck off

Pro wrestling terminology. A jobber is a wrestler who's sole purpose is to come out and get his ass kicked by wrestlers who are actually supposed to be formidable night after night.

This has made its way into being used in other forms of storytelling.

This guy deserves to be right at the fuckin center.

I haven't seen Pokemon in a while, but wasn't Brock's Onyx kind of a jobber? Yoi sort of expect Team Rocket to lose every episode,

...

Will Zeppeli , or Okuyasu should replace Kakyoin as the jojo jobber. Kakyoin has actually won a couple of fights. I don't think Zeppeli or Okuyasu have won a single fight.

ROMAN REIGNS

FUKK DAT GUY

>ancient Babylonian fighter jet

Literally means "someone who loses", makes more sense in it's original wresting context where shit is staged and wrestlers literally get paid to show up and lose for whatever reason

They would have figured it out eventually anyway, especially in the original ending. There are bigger jobbers in jojo anyway
But even these aren't that good of examples.
>chooses part 1 jobber
>not dire
>not even straights
All things considered, Stroheim is kinda a jobber
Avdol is the biggest part 3 jobber, fucker dies twice

So who else needs to be added to the OP pic?

Kakyoin, Sanji and Team Rocket aren't jobbers.

Polnareff is a bigger jobber than Kakyoin.

>Sanji and Team Rocket aren't jobbers

I agree. I don't know who the other guy is.

Sanji has only lost to Doflamingo afaic recall in recent memory and no one really thought he was going to beat him anyways.

A character that suddenly fights like a retard even though they are very strong, example look most fights involving Silver Surfer in DC, now Surfer could just snap his fingers and reduce his foes to nothing but subatomic particles but nooo he has to punch and kick and shit and magically forgets these powers.

this
Kakyoin was capable of defeating stand users alone or with little help while polnareff always needed help. Also you can put Okuyasu on the list, he is the biggest jobber in part 4

Also the guy from Code Geass isn't a jobber for the same reason Team Rocket aren't.

I don't think anyone from Code Geass were technically jobbers. Maybe the four heavens under the samurai guy and the knights of the round?

How many fights Okuyasu lost? I can only remember vs Josuke and vs RHCP. Oh, I almost forgot vs Rohan.

He also kinda jobbed against Kira but he saved the day after a short nap.

Sanji absolutely is a jobber, everyone knows this. He's like the main jobber on the crew.

>Kuwabara

No

I can only remember him jobbing against Doflamingo.

Jotaro is a bigger jobber than Kakyoin.

Probably those three. Don't really remember, but he has one of the most powerful stands in part 4 and could easily defeat most opponents if he wasn't dumb as fuck. But he is still one of my favorite characters.

> No Marco
He jobs even harder than Smoker.

This is jobbing.

>zenkichi a jobber
he was a normal person in a world full of freaks, and he fucking won in the end anyway

He jobbed, he isn't a jobber.

This guy is right
>wow Whitebeard's 1st mate so strong
>lose every single battle

>Zenkichi
>Jobber

Pufe from Hunter X Hunter

Pofu never jobbed.

Are you kidding? He lost every encounter he had.

>Vegeta
>not Yamcha

>Gil
>Saber
>not Lancer

Didn't he left his battles before them to end?

This is jobbing?

Piccolo is this, right?

>implying gilgamesh isn't a jobber
Kill yourself.

>only jobs to the stars
>jobber
Gil is the Haitch of FSN.

You forgot this guy

>Zenkichi
What? He basically wins every fight he's in.

He was yet to lose a fight.

>get assed kicked once
>jobber
This really should stay in the context of pro wrestling.

That isn't true, Polnareff's taken out more stand users than Kakyoin did.

...

>Kakyoin
Gray Fly, Mannish Boy and Steely Dan (with little help)

>Polnareff
Devo, J. Geil (with lots of help) and Vanilla Ice (with lots of help)

>best fights in the original series
>loses every one

Why did they have to bury him like that?

>No Yamcha

0/10.
Yamcha is the king of jobbers.

Wouldn't Anshin'in be the actual jobber in Medaka Box? It's been a while since I read it, but she only won joke battles against the doubles, and lost her only real battle against Iichico if I recall correctly.

Not being able to solve one puzzle doesn't make you a jobber.

That entire arc is about Zenkichi becoming the protagonist and winning against Medaka. Hardly anyone in the series has been able to do that.

Steely Dan was more of a team-effort user.

She wins in her own arc and the ending implies that she lost against Iihiko on purpose, so I'm not sure that she really qualifies as a jobber.

Kakyoin did most of the fight. Silver Chariot did nothing and Kakyoin left Jotaro to finish him off because he knew he was pissed.

I would argue that he is to weak now to even job properly. Noone expects anything from him any more. Unlike Vegeta.

Up to the Freeza saga one could have expected anything from Yamcha. Guy never did anything in that time.

If it wasn't for Joseph Kakyoin wouldn't have been able to do shit and he was assisted by Polnareff.

And the entire plan hinged on Jotaro being around Dan, so he could defeat him before he was able to use Lovers again.

I'm pretty sure Kakyoin didn't need Hermit Purple to see, since he could catch Lovers from several meters away with precision. Hermit Purple was helping Polnareff. And Jotaro was forced into the fight because muh jiji, Hierophant Green could easily catch Lovers before he went inside Jotaro like he did before he went inside the child.

Also no edit of that pic with Kakyoin as Little Mac and Joseph as Doc?

>I'm pretty sure Kakyoin didn't need Hermit Purple
Kakyoin can't see inside of people's brain. Stop being silly user.

To catch Lovers he would have to be aware of it first, which is why he didn't catch it when it attacked Joseph. In the circumstance of the fight he needed both Jotaro and Joseph.

It was never portrayed as Kakyoin's fight in the manga.

Bulma

>Patrick
>Jobber
What? The guy starts his MS pilot career from playing with simulators but took down gundam, survived multiple explosions, space lasers and ayy lmao that wiped out gundams and 70% of entire earth military within an hour.

He did most of the fight.

>zenkichi
>jobber

nigga what

he did extremely well in a series full of people with godly powers

I forget but Ash's Torterra has the unfortunate distinction of never winning a battle after it evolved.

Aren't all OPM characters but Saitama a bunch of jobbers?
