On and off for a while, but I only really got serious like three or four years ago. That said, my idea of studying is just buying a shitload of manga at Book Off's $1 section and a few monthly magazines and looking up anything I don't know, so I still can't read much outside of what you'd find in painfully generic shonen/seinen.
