why is watching anime so much work? how do you guys do it everyday, motivate yourself to keep watching?
would it be less exhausting and tiring if i just turned the subtitles off? but then i dont get most of the stuff

If you find it exhausting, stop watching for a while. Read or play games until the bug bites you again.
Or learn Japanese, since you're still using subs. Then you can rewatch your favorite shows with new ears.

I just download way more than I can watch given all the distractions like manga or vidya. Oh and most of the stuff I've watched before 2010 is burned on dvds somewhere. I guess should redownload it too rather than look for a dvd drive.
