naruto
Sankarea
Soul Eater
Ao no Exorcist
Tokyo Ghou: re
Anything that has been going on for decades with no end in sight.
The entire medium in general.
SnK
Everything with >100 chapters.
One Piece
Nanatsu no Taizai
D-frag.
Basically anything I started following when I was ~16 or under (and that didn't end when I was still that age). Half of them went to shit, the other half were always shit and I just didn't realize it because I was a middle grader when I picked them up.
OP here, some of mine are
Owari no Seraph
UQ Holder
Mudazumo Naki Kaikaku
Kangoku Gakuen
Btoom
Gakkou gurashi
I'm not sure whether I should pick them up again at some point when there are plenty of chapters released. Often kinda feels like the individual chapter release format messes up the pacing.
Prison School after the anime ended I just could not give a fuck about it any more.
Kate and her crew seemed awful, I read it to fap to Vice President anyway.
Gakkou Gurashi.
The manga not only got noticeably worse after they left the school but also the horrible scanlations were painful to read.
>Mudazumo Naki Kaikaku
God damn, I didn't even realize this had started getting scans again. I remember it overstaying its welcome after the moon, though.
The ones that have a general on this board.
This. It gradually became obvious the author didn't know what to do. Killing off best girl in such a stupid way was awful.
These
The Gamer too, but I don't know if that should be called manga
>I don't know if that should be called manga
It's not, lurk more.
Same, but I only enjoyed it for the first few volumes. The fights are such a mess, I realized I only liked the silly humor
Your loss. PBR-sama best girl
...
Otoyomegatari
;_;
The manga should've just ended at that point, just like the anime.
I dropped it a while ago but it seems like it's just turning into the most standard zombie story out there now, manga version of Walking Dead.
I had some hope for it but I don't see how The Gamer really could get better at this point. There is really nothing good about it other than the main character exploring his ability. Neither the characters nor the plot were anything special.
>Owari no Seraph
It has slow pacing, but at least doesn't have filler arc. Latest chapter is interesting. It looks like author is finally going to reveal how apocalypse happened and what "owari no seraph" is
That's like over 90% of manga in general.
You've dropped 90% of manga you liked initially?
I don't think it's that strange. I'm the same way and I think manga tend to run on forever.
Detective Conan
Skip Beat.
At first it was taking the route of shitting all over the guy that is the typical asshole romantic lead in shoujo. Then the rival guy Ren (who turns out to be the true lead) shows up and starts pulling the exact same manipulative asshole shit. I thought the story was setting up Kyoko so she'd see through the bullshit and stop history from repeating itself, but nope. It's not hypocrisy, it's romantic because it's Ren acting that way! Fuck shoujo manga.
I didn't for years, nowadays I do.
SnK - gone nowhere
Nisegoyum - after 30 chapters - gone nowhere
Re:monster - its shit and boring
>Ao no Exorcist
this, fuck
same happened with Prison School for some reason, I plan to read it at some point again.
NIsekoi
I think it's pretty strange. Do you read a bunch of battle shounen and then get annoyed when they fall into battle shounen tropes, or what?
>Ao no Exorcist
I read this and manga is going to have similar ending as anime. I just wonder why mangaka doesn't end this manga, but instead we have 20+ chapters filler arc and arc about school stuff. Mangaka doesn't even mention the main plot anymore
To-Love Ru:Darkness
is that the cromartie seal?
SnK - trash that goes nowhere
Fairy Tail - I don't even need an explanation for this one
Nisekoi - dropped at around chapter 100-110 because it was filler incarnate
Ao no Exorcist - too much friendship faggotry and idiotic cast. So much for being the son of Satan. Mephisto carried this manga by himself
Fuuka - I just don't feel like dealing with seo
Yamada-kun - Too much convoluted mystery shit on top of mystery shit for the sake of dragging the story. Plus, Shiraishit will win instead of Odagiri so no point
Probably many more many more, but they'd be too insignificant to even remember.
Jojo part IV
Im glad i skipped that piece of shit, Part V was the greatest
>Fairy Tail - I don't even need an explanation for this one
You need an explanation as to why you ever liked it. Same with Fuuka.
>implying
TerraFormars. There are too many characters and they all have detailed backstories.
>any of JoJo
>the greatest
>implying?
I don't read battle shounen that often. I tend to read romance manga or thriller stuff.
>You need an explanation as to why you ever liked it.
I liked Rave Master and it was okay until the Tower Jellal arc so I was interested in it.
>Same with Fuuka.
Fuuka was cute and the rest of the side cast was okay and it was a romance manga about music. Then Seo went full SEOOOO at around chapter 30.
>Gakkou Gurashi
Fucking this. I now know why most anime/manga settings stay in high school, college is fucking shit and ruins everything.
Isn't Fairy Tail the most standard of shounen out there? Fun adventure of stereotype characters with barely any plot progression discounting villain + henchmen of current arc?
I stopped reading it too but it's not the worst thing ever.
>not same user
Any that takes 3 months for a chapter to be translated.
I end up forgeting about the plot.
Yotsuba
It's not the worst manga ever made, but it's quite bad. I don't see how anyone can care about anything that's going on - it's just tits and some irrelevant nonsense that gets in the way of the tits too much for it to be a good ecchi.
Vampire Knight and D. Grayman.
VK lost my interest after Yuki being a Marysue, and DGM just stopped being good to me.
Arpeggio unfortunately.
Fairy Tail is what you can think of the most stereotypical action shounen tropes turned up to eleven, mixed with extra friendship, ridiculous asspulls, disgusting overhyping of the villain only for them to be defeated by a single friendship punch from MC the same way every time, villains turning friends, no one ever dying even if they die(always brought back), awful plot that is made up on a whim and annoying main characters.
It doesn't even try to pretend. It's terrible on every level.
I still read it although it has been pretty boring lately. The pacing really needs work. I love the feeling of it, but I couldn't bring myself to be excited for their battle with Kongo at all.
Berserk
Berserk. Too long and going no where. No character progression just fight after fight. Has too much rape and nudity. Was disgusted with all the loli
stop copying me faggot
that's why people dropped it
your the faggot. faggot
Gintama
Fuck, I used to really enjoy the manga, but it has been shit ever since the Farewell Shinsengumi Arc ended.
Terra Formars. I've never seen a Manga become such consulted shit.
Ensemble casts are cancer
Yeah, but I guess the difference is I don't think it was ever any better than that.
no u
one piece
the pacing is so damn slow now
got me good senpai
Gantz, it's was so good, and a lot of shit happened
owned bitch
It was never good. It was always a bunch of bad drama and shitty art carried solely by the fact that characters dying impressed its teenaged teenagers.
this is not me though
you fucking impostor
There's been way too many to count, but out of the top of my mind, Gantz. It showed so much promise for the first few volumes, then it all went to hell really fucking fast. Years of my life were wasted reading that shit.
Prison school
It has gotten incredibly boring. This whole cabarly arc is shit and Im seriously considering dropping it.
>shitty art
The art was the only good thing it had, retard.
YOURE the impostor, impostor! STOP MIMICKING ME
youre not fooling anyone
TerraFormars - I didn't even know what was happening any longer. At least that german electric guy and the sacrifice of the russian baldy were great.
Yamada-kun 7 something witches - It already had a perfect ending point, but the author thought it would be great to add 7 new witches and drag it out.
Shokugeki no Souma - 1 character single handedly ruined it for me. I just wanted to see some good looking food and porn, not discount Aizen being an edgelord about food because of "muh senpai didn't dick me" bullshit.
Feels like summer in here
NO, I am ME, ME!!!
I dropped Berserk around the Sea God arc. I DID, IT WAS ME
MEEEEEEEEE
His digital shit looks fucking awful, I don't know how anyone can stomach it. It's like Kengo Kanazawa tier sometimes.
This is bait.
I've never dropped a manga before.
I just forget to check for updates, then one day I'll just be like "oh yeah! I was reading such and such".
Like chihayafuru, haven't read it in probably 6 months but I love reading it.
pretty much everything
one chapter a week/month just isn't enough to keep me interested after a year or two
Every single shonen, except One Piece.
A month I can kind of understand, but a week? Do you have ADHD? Have you never been able to follow a TV show or book series in your life?
I liked Bakuman until they ran out of explanations about the manga industry and had to introduce the cringy edgy villain along with arcs that went nowhere for the sake of shitty drama like that one with the kid and the dog.
Bleach
This too
>One Piece of all things
Are you 17?
How do you watch seasonal shows then?
Only 1 so far, All Rounder Meguru. Only because I really don't like sports stuff unless it's racing. Probably will pick it back up eventually just because autism compels me.
We are fucking never going to see the whole thing translated at this rate, so you can't satisfy your coimpletionism either way.
The one thing from bakuman that I'll never forget is the kid rolling out of the cab yelling "Let's Hospital!"
Maoyuu Maou Yuusha Gaiden
Tg RE
Boku no hero (because i'm lazy but i got the spoilers)
Bleach
Ao no exorcist
Nanatzu no taizai
Terraformars.
>We are fucking never going to see the whole thing translated at this rate
My condolences. Although if that's the case my autism stops caring.
This, around the Fake Karakura Town arc. And Gokukoku no Brynhildr, stopped around chapter 100
Youkai shoujo.
It's damn boring and stupid, not even spider was abke to redeem it.
