The four Gospels are Jesus interpreting the Old Testament in weird ways and after that comes Paul interpreting Jesus in weird ways.

Haven't watched the whole video here but I don't agree with pastor Anderson's theology here, because in Isaiah God is referring to the gentiles of unbelievers when he's talking about "the nations". Today the Christians are God's chosen people which means he cares about us.

There are many things the Bible won't tell you because they are too common sense. People were always nationalistic, especially in Biblical times, in fact, the entire OT is about the nation of Israel.
If you apply what the Bible teaches, to love your family, to love your neighbor, you must ultimately love your city, and your nation. In fact, only within a nation can you even apply God's commandments. If a Pole sees a German sinning against God, how can he correct him? Will the German even listen? People must use their nations to conquer the unrighteous and submit them to the word of God, because in reality there is just no other way.
Nationalism is good, however it can be evil if you commit sin (like killing Christian civilians), to advance your nation. Godliness on the other hand can per definition never be evil, this is why the Bible is about godliness and not about nationalism.
Nations don't matter to God, but they matter to people, same as with economies. We are pefectly capable of using our brain in conjuction with God's word, and God knows this. We would need to be idiots for God to spell every detail out for us, but as such we would be useless to God anyway. The million denominations of protestantism of course don't understand this.
