That's around GuP, a series that came out of nowhere, and two times worse than the likes of LL or Madoka.
The only Fate series that really was very popular was Fate/Zero. But that's in large part because it was Gen's series and came out right after Madoka.

Fate is a very popular franchise and the sales from the VN and the money generated from games like Grand Order is a testament of that. Just look at the popularity of Saber's figure and how many of them are sold.

The second half is when characters start being explored, but unless you enjoy suffering and high tier chuuni adventures of Kiritsugu the main draw of Zero is Rider. Rider and Waver's relationship is the only good servant/master relationship outside maybe Kirei/Gil but even that pales in comparison.
Rider is the reason I enjoyed Zero, he feels like the polar opposite of everything else in this garbage franchise.

Zero isn't about character growth or characterization, but on the contestants, as fixed identities, due to their flaws, moving towards destinations you know about, or should know about, if you read the VN like you were supposed to.

I liked Zero as a whole, but Iksander as well as his relationship with Waver raised it from about a 7 to an 8 out of 10 for me. Everything outside of Zero is trash, particularly the LN and VN and especially anything that focuses on FSN.

Some idiot took a screen shot from a half broken English site called think gaming that does consulting on mobage markets and strategies for registered business and it allows a snapshot of the estimates which are just arbitrary assessments based on daily rankings and number of downloads. There's no way to see what formula they used or anything like this but when to you're just taking a snapshot of it on a peak Gacha spamming day and going around memeing I doubt people care for the details. I've seen other games like DBZ Dokkan Battle and idolMASTER, Granblue fanatsy and of course Puzzles and Dragons and Monster strike which are said to dominate 80% of the total markets revenue estimated at the same amount and obviously the latter two make way more. I've also seen FGO estimated as low as 50K on some days so again who knows with think gaming.
It has very very mixed reviews and relies on whaling type moons zealot fanatics. The company is frankly terrible in how it looks at its fanbase. It's not even close to the number one mobage either, that's puzzles and dragons. It's not even in the top 100 popular ones.

The two box sets sold around 35k each, so averaging them out together nets you around 35k in sales, but in total numbers it's over 70k.
The important thing though is Fate/Zero's sales are trumpeted around for breaking 100k all together for their two sets. The 50k average is usually never brought up.
