For people that don't understand how Jiro became immaterial:
He pure energy but managed to have a body due to Emi restraining his powers and then the fumers infusing with him.
When the fumers died he couldn't control his power and became energy again.
Energy isn't something tangible but it exists.

A romantic ending to the series if you ask me.Jiro became omnipresent but intangible, just like the concept of what a god is supposed to be.

The only thing I didn't exaclty like about the ending was that Emi didn't win the Jirobowl. I didn't dislike Kikko (not like he got him either), but to me Jiro and Emi were a perfect pair.

I personally loved it, I feared it might be too rushed, but they did a really nice job.
I didn't even felt it that rushed because every episode has always moved fast giving a lot information each second anyway, the ending was more or less the same.

As far as Aikawa's track record on endings go it could have been much worse.

Jirou found his SEIGI and punched AKU in the face. Jaguar rused everyone.
Emi and Kikko both lost da jiroub owl.

Yeah, it was quite satisfying yet bittersweet. Robocop and Megashin weren't kill and Satomi was BTFO, that's all that matters. Although it feels strange to be given a piece of info about Satomi right before he dies.
