Doesn't affect your degree at all, it's completely separate. It's done on a Wed afternoon (usually) so if you do sports, you probably won't have time to do it. But if you don't do sports and actually intend to go to the 'lessons' and learn the language then it's well worthwhile.

Don't buy land. Land can be a massive liability, especially in a foreign country that you probably know nothing about, and especially when you're really young. Gold is okay but borderline prepper meme-tier for most people on this site. It is fine though.
Get your land properly valued and sell it. If that potential is real then you need to find out and be sure about it. 15k is capital that could be used much more effectively and efficiently, than being left to just sit and not really increase in value that much at all (unless, like you say, you're sure). It depends what you want to do with it, but if you really don't have any kind of plan then there's not much point keeping it desu.

I just checked the land prices, and obviously the specific grade and location of it, and it seems my 12 acres agricultural land has appreciated significantly since I first got it. I think it's now worth a great deal more than €15k, especially because it has access to water and electricity (i.e. a farmhouse could be built, stables, machinery etc.)
I'll make some calls tomorrow I think.
