Why does everyone say it went to shit after she went all God Mode? The series was never about battles. She's been just as funny to read the whole time.

The one complaint I would have is that she got rid of the Parallel Wills because the conversations with herself were the best part. It was like always having a room full of idiots.

Maybe because there's less focus on her now? There's more characters doing their own things and separate stories all over and it might be a pain for those that really only like Kumoko.

But she now there's D and Demon King, and the spawlings, which are sorta the same, all of them are idiots, some more powerful than others.

Although I do agree that the worst part of the story was the section right after her ascension where we just got a massive dump of Blood and Oni chapters.

But ever since Oni vs Oni she's back to the main focus with very little other characters in between. (Except when their viewpoints would add something to the story.)

although the blood chapters were pretty good in the long run because being able to see Kumo-chan from an outsiders perspective was pretty great.

Maybe all the people that say it went to shit there just dropped it once the Oni and Blood chapters started coming out and didn't come back once they went away...

Agreed. It was a pain to be introduced to new characters right at that moment. I grew to like them though, the only character I don't like would be the ones I'm not supposed to like(Yuugo, big bad Elf guy) and maybe Shun.

Somewhere around Maou fight the author whote himself to a corner where it's too easy to get null:x and the solution to winning all battles was to just have Null:all.
Which too quickly became outright immortality and breaking the system a few chapters later. It happens too quickly and too easily imho.

The powerlevels simply got off the charts and characters are introduced simply to get their ass overtaken, and last I checked there was iirc literally nobody other than D and her whoever that were even implied to be on similar tier.

The series was never about power. It is, and always has been, a comedy. The fact that you can't see that means you are wrong.

I mostly agree, but I'm glad the author eased on the multiple personality bit. It was the only time I felt annoyed listening to kumo. I personally think the story only gets better as time goes on, particularly because the Sophia-Shiro relationship is so much fun.

She's intentionally nerfed into oblivion.

Also this module sucks.

Try reading blastron's translation instead of turb0's at the beginning. turb0 got better over time, but the original 60+ chapters are pretty poor. I personally didn't feel the story took off until right after her evolution (around the bee arc).
