Joker Game Cast Comment: Hosoya Yoshimasa

>–Please tell us your impressions of this work–

I read some of the original work for the audition, and I found it to have a very profound atmosphere, so it didn’t give me an impression that this was a going to become a full-scale anime. I really like the atmospheric ambience of the Taisho, Shouwa eras, so I hoped that Odagiri’s turn would come out as soon as possible.

>–Please tell us something about your character–

Yuuki came to recruit Odagiri when he was in utter despair with his life, so I think he’s a diligent person who frantically killed his own heart so he can be dyed by the D Agency. Concerning the direction and performance of the character, I wasn’t entrust with an instructions or explanations, rather it was all left in my charge; therefore, I acted based on what I thought he would be like.

>–Please give a message to everyone who is waiting for the broadcast–

In one sentence, it would probably be “A Story of People Regenerating”. Because everyone feels differently, I will just be happy if you all feel something from this. Also, I didn’t talk much in episode 1, but in his episode Odagiri will talk a lot (laughs), thank you very much for your cooperation.

>“Unable to become human”

>depressed spy

So that's why Odagiri an autist that can't communicate normally in the drama tracks.

He is also a drunk in the chibi art.

Finally there's some background for one of the spies.

Sort of want.

Even though the writing could get really convoluted at times, this is still one of my favourites this season. I've gotten way more attached to it than I ever could've imagined when I started. I hope it'll do well enough for a season 2, eventually. (And maybe I can quench my newfound thirst of historical dramas with '91 days' this summer.)

Nogami Yuriko (CV. Nakahara Mai )

A member of the theatrical company. A beautiful and intelligent lady. An associate with Carl Schneider.

Yasuhara Miyoko (CV. Sakamoto Maaya)

A member of the theatrical company. A friend and underclassman of Nogami Yuriko. Even within the theatrical company, she is known as a highly popular showgirl.

Reminder that episode 12 takes place some time after episode 1 and 2 and before the episode where Miyoshi dies.

So this is it? Its finally over?

Odagiri = Tobisaki Hiroyukichi

So we learn one spy's real name and his back story .

Did Odagiri join Miyoshi?

Why was he depressed?

Nah but they interacted.

Shame. I expected more out of the series.

He was court martial I think for helping another solider against the officer he's under.

Why does Miyoshi look so cute and innocent here?

Because he is best boy.

Spy moe.

>miyoshi died
>Sakuma never appeared again
>likely didnt accept Yuuki's personal invitation
Shit development

>Sakuma never appeared again
>likely didnt accept Yuuki's personal invitation

Yep, this episode comes after 1-2 and Sakuma isn't in it at all. So he didn't join the D agency or he's still training.

Joker Game Drama CD 2: Cast Comment

>–Please tell us your impressions of any scenes or lines after the recording–

Yuuki ・Horiuchi Kenyuu: Contrary to our expectations of a composed work, the Metropolitan Police Department D section’s characters are all very open; unlike the anime it takes in a different direction, leaving you with a succession of laughter. Yuuki is just the narrator, but the more seriously I did it, the more I laughed!

Miyoshi・Shimono Hiroshi: Spies and Special Investigation Sections, are pretty similar…. Is what I thought, but it was completely different from the serious atmosphere from the main volume, that I was quite puzzled. Though my feelings are undulating, we must send this CD out so while I had fun, I was also was troubled.

Kaminaga・Kimura Ryohei: His personality wasn’t drawn out in the main volume, so it was interesting to see it strongly expressed here.

Odagiri・Hosoya Yoshimasa: My frank impression after the recording: “I’m glad this was a drama CD”. If the script was expressed through pictures, Odagiri would lose his lines (laughs). That’s why I’m glad to have safely received some lines.

Amari・Morikawa Toshiyuki: I think I could have been made into a good police officer. While I understand that anything can happen in a parody, Amari is just so out of it (laughs).

Hatano・Yuki Kaji: Unlike Hatano’s easy-going attitude in the main volume, I feel like he became an all out tsukkomi character. (laughs) Personally I enjoyed the neighborhood sports event episode. Enjoy Hatano getting teased about his height! (laughs)

Jitsui・Fukuyama Jun: The world is so different than the original work, so I tried acting on the surface of my character. The gap is amazing. (laughs)

Fukumoto・Nakai Kazuya: The ever so elusive, mysterious man, I was surprised to see this unknown side to Fukumoto. I voiced out a cry that he would never do in the main volume. I feel like I have a deeper understanding of him so I feel closer to him.

Tazaki・Sakurai Takahiro: In this parody, Tazaki is pretty easy to understand. It’s a huge gap from the main volume, but putting that aside, I enjoyed this parallel world.

Sakuma・Seki Tomokazu: Since this is a parody about detectives, I had fun acting with renewed spirits. However even in a different world, Sakuma’s earnesty is still going strong. What kind of chemical reaction occurs with the other characters in this changed world? Please look forward to it.

>–Please leave a message for everyone who is waiting for the release–

Yuuki ・Horiuchi Kenyuu: Everyone, please enjoy the character’s playfulness. Let the anime be serious and have the parody explode as it wants, even when I acted in this, I had a great laugh. Please look forward to it!

Miyoshi・Shimono Hiroshi: The D Agency members only gathered together in beginning and end, so like the stories in the TV shows I enjoy, “Documentary Program”, there were plenty of detail of everyone solving each case . If you like, please listen.

Kaminaga・Kimura Ryohei: While they are still excellent, look forward to the dismantled D members!

Odagiri・Hosoya Yoshimasa: This is a parody to the composed, serious world of the main volume, however if you view this as a side dish of some sorts to the main show, I think you’ll be able to relax your shoulders and enjoy it. By all means, please look forward to it!

Amari・Morikawa Toshiyuki: Please don’t look forward to Amari’s activities. He’s too my paced and free spirited, so he won’t be doing any outstanding performances (laughs)

Hatano・Yuki Kaji: It’s a bit different than the main volume…. No it’s totally different (laughs). Please look forward to the Joker Game world.

Jitsui・Fukuyama Jun: I’ll be happy if everyone enjoys the gaps of the characters in this parody. I await your reactions!!

Fukumoto・Nakai Kazuya: We have so many characters gathered in one spot, so it’s kinda a ‘we must do it otherwise it’s wasteful’ kind of cd. Of course look forward to your favorite character, but this unobserved has a time charm to him so please enjoy his appearance.

Tazaki・Sakurai Takahiro: Since this is about the police, it has some connecting features to the main volume. Please enjoy this cd as you imagine the characters act without any restraint.

Sakuma・Seki Tomokazu: Thank you for all your support. You probably watched the main volume nervously with your heart was pounding, but please laugh and enjoy the drama cd.

Some had fun, others seem to be worried that the comedic nature of the CD is inappropriate for the series. I wonder what the original author of the novel thinks of the light-hearted sketches?

Bravo.

>Tfw we will never get Joker Game: Cold War edition

Good show. I'm going to miss it every tuesday

Aren't the sales for this show actually pretty decent? I really like it and think any success would be well deserved but I'm surprised because it doesn't seem the sort of show that usually sells. I'm imagining it's big with the fujoshi?

Farewell sign from Miyoshi.
animatetimes.com/news/details.php?id=1466489579

>I'm imagining it's big with the fujoshi?
This retarded meme needs to stop.

any show with more than two male characters is fujo bait. you know that

Don't tell me, everything goes JUST AS PRANNED

Not quite.

So in the end he really was untrainable.

Damn satan. I wish I wasn't so dumb, I didn't get the punchline.

So what happened to Sakuma? Also ED when

Yuuki best wingman, sending Odagiri to the same place the actress is going

>So what happened to Sakuma?

Looks like he didn't join the agency.

He was transferred elsewhere by Muto

The only thing that could distract him from his work at D-Agency was that woman, so it's a good bet that if he ends up with her he won't be recruited by anybody else.

ED already released since last month.

Fuck really? Haven't seen it on nyaa

Smug shits 'till the very end. Just how I like 'em.

>Shimono saying chamomile in Russian
Oh god

>ensemble cast at last episode

This is a really good way to end it.

I liked this show but the ending didn't feel like an ending. I'm pretty disapointed after the fantastic first two episodes that it just stalled. The cases were kind if cool I guess but everything, including character death felt really inconsequential minus the first two episodes and the one with the british e.t.
