I can't think of many things that actually benefit from CGI in an aesthetic sense.
Maybe a space opera with large fleet battles. The harlock movie had nice space stations, but the characters were ugly as hell. And stylistically it looks more like a final fantasy cutscene than anime.
Or something like the fights in the fate franchise.
