Yes, there are still heaps of problems but every day things improve and there we less industrial accidents and higher standards of living. The pollution problem was a calculated risk for the springboard economic gains they needed and it's already being rapidly fixed. They still have a big hole to dig out of thanks to years or commie policies, but they've been on a steady course for a long time now and don't mind breaking eggs to get their omelette.
