Here's the kicker.

Meanwhile the ai behind the reverse image search feels much less intelligent than it used to be.

It is.

Image search got destroyed.

>using a mac
literally why

Holy shit, that's pretty impressive.

>Search for loli
>get an ad about some anti pedophilia organisation

They are on to me.

How, it was good but recently gives shit results.
Sometimes now Yandex is better.

Why though?

>Fastest OS
>Will never attacked by virus

Gee I wonder why...

I've noticed this too and don't really understand

It's a Google Thread

wow you are right
i wonder how they did it

start writing a novel from the perspective of a pedo. if you get vanned say you were researching into his psyche

Meh
It still has room for improvement.

Probably testing new algorithms and/or resetting the database.

Sup Forums why have you forsaken us

it's not the fastest OS anymore, now that jobs died apple doesn't give a shit about performance. and you can also not get viruses by using the free antivirus CommonSense 2016TM and not running unknown executables from the internet

Don't use emoticons on Sup Forums.

It's very hard to get a virus on any OS

i remember that! you have to be joking that they scrapped the system bc of it though

...

>google image captcha thing pops up
>spend like 5 minutes choosing things that aren't lakes when it asks for lakes until the captcha passes
>mfw some dude is gonna see a picture of a parking lot in his google image search for a lake

DDG gives me the same results with dragon ball and moribito. It got close with garden of words, but it gave me good results with images for it.

You have a link to anything about that? It sounds hilarious.

...

few years back

I don't get it
Also I miss YouTube's old look

Calm down summer police, some emoticons are okay, you have to check new newfag guide again.

kek

>Unix based but with mainstream developer support
>OS X/iOS ecosystem works nicely
>solid build quality
>great design and user experience
>it just werks

...

>some emoticons are okay,
That one isn't part of the two. Lurk more.

did you mean mushishi?

MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT

...

I wish it did this for all anime screen caps.

:3, ;__; and :^) are all Sup Forums approved.

look at the image again, user

You need to lurk Sup Forums, not Sup Forums.
;_; is approved, :3 is partially approved and the other one is not.
Again, lurk more.

...

oh i didn't notice it the first time, forgive me

it shows though that google still doesn't "understand" the search phrase, as both your and my phrase have essentially the same meaning

>pls noticed my tabs ;_;

Don't worry, I did

>Watch Dubbed Anime Online
>Naruconfessions
>MLP ass thread
>my anime drawings
>who is moot?
>where is the eu?
>can americans vote in brexit?
>shit
>Gay sex WITH HATS ON
What the fuck, dude?

samefag please leave, here's you (You).

hello newfag

For me, google probably isn't that good because I don't have an account, because I use anti-tracking plugins and because I have a dynamic IP.

Overall, I find this quite worrying though, since they probably store information on their users and the better the algorithms get the more they (as well as government organisations) will know about people.

Right now it may not be that much of an issue, but that's what gay people in Weimar Germany thought when the police thought it was a good idea to keep 'pink lists' on people who were suspected of being homosexual. When the Nazis got in power and the lists fell into their hands, they were quite eager to pay them a visit.

And if google knows that you frequent the sad panda website, it possibly may not end up good for you at some point.

Probably not, though. I'll be long dead before society forgets that radical acts like that are not wise.

>Not having separate browser profiles for general browsing and private stuff
Don't tell me you don't have a plausible fake facebook account too

...

...

...

And newfags STILL complain about not being spoonfed

>anime with baker who has afro

Sure is great, yeah.

...

Too easy to search and then replace the searched text.

Only idiots would believe this.

Shortly before WW1 it was seriously believed that a great war could never happen since the European countries were too dependent on each other. I wouldn't bet on it.

I think you're underestimating the algorithms. If you use an account to look up things that interest you, then it's a facet of your own personality and thus gives them information about you. Tying it to your real self is easily possible by correlating it with other info. Even if google may not be capable of it, the government certainly is - or will be - since at some point you're going to enter some info that traces back to you, whether it's through online banking or some payment.

holy shit, I thought about this one but didn't think there was any way.

But the pink lists were always meant to be used for persecuting gays. They served no other purpose; Homosexuality was prohibited in the Weimar constitution as well.
I'm not saying it's impossible that big data may be turned against us, but I don't think there's a historical antecedent to draw on, because commercial data collection is a rather modern concept.

Facebook is trying to make connections between people I know who don't know each other.

I don't have a facebook account, I don't click on facebook links and I block as many of the like this on social media buttons as I can.

The issue is that they didn't make use of them during the Weimar period since even though it was officially illegal it was tolerated in more progressive places, e.g. Berlin, so people didn't worry too much.

I see the parallel in the regard that lots of people don't worry about this, when in my opinion they should be worrying.

Well, since the image search no longer works and it's a hassle to use anything else if I'm away from home lurking OPTs on my phone I can understand why some people ask for sauce. I could never bring myself down to that level, but it would be nice if certain losers didn't feel the need to deliberately mislabel their images to make things harder.

Found it for you.

It should also be noted that google uses the CP detection technology from Microsoft on their image search. At this point they may not be looking for loli manga, but given the fact that it is illegal in countries such as UK, Canada, Australia and some US states, they might as well widen their database to also trigger for this sort of content at some point.

Because someone on google decided ANime = Cartoons, that's why you get cartoon network results 99% of the time.

>first result of page 2

IM FUCKING MAD THAT DESPITE GOOGLE IMAGE REVERSE BEING PURE SHIT NOW, PEOPLE STILL WONT GIVE SOURCE AND POST CROPPED PORN

ITS NOT FAIR, IQDB SUCKS TOO

This is very recent though. I haven't even noticed an increase in people asking for source.
That just goes to show that the people who ask for source don't try to figure it out themselves.

It doesn't work for anything I try. Has this whole thread been trolling me?

Not debating that, you're right. I'm just frustrated with google. I assume anyone with the gal these days to actually post "sauce??" is human trash.

>capitalizing greentext
>...
>being this delusional
Sasuga macfag.

i think the phrase "thick thighs" is just a meme and isn't taken by google into consideration when searching the web

so it's not just me then

I noticed since a few months ago my reverse doujin/hentai panel searches were never working.

don't worry Sup Forums captchas are disregarded.

Google's new AIs are designed to identify the content of images, not where they came from. It's the same shit they added to their Photos app. Why they thought that was a good idea to add to their search engine I don't know, hopefully mootles will fix it while he works there.

Maybe they'll add a menu item to make it optional.

What's the point of that supposed to be? You can identify the content of an image by looking at it, source is usually harder to find.

The idea is that you google a photo of a guy and google delivers a name and an address.

In the Photos app it makes sense, if you're a normalfag who takes loads of photos, you can search for photos of dogs, drinks, or the names of your friends on your phone and get results. But in the search engine I can't think of any really good reason for it, it probably works with celebrities or whatever the majority of people use reverse image search for and they may have wanted some degree of uniformity across their platforms.

I guess they aren't familiar with the concept of tags.

maybe they use the results to compare accuracy of their system (they got this new neural network to have fun with) in identifying objects to our accuracy

Google Image Search doesn't really work.

>OSx
>chrome

is Sup Forums the least Sup Forums board?

It's just OP.

Normalfags dont tag, it'd take them too much time which is why Google does it for them.

>Nicholas Cage
I don't see the problem.

...

On average Sup Forums is more Sup Forums than Sup Forums, how new are you?

That would be /out/ duh

Nice try but the magic is kinda ruined when your search term is at the top.

I'm honestly impressed

the only Sup Forums about Sup Forums is >vlc and muh mpc

This is how you do it, user.
You're supposed to stitch the lower half of one image (where the search results are displayed) to the upper half of another image (where the search query is displayed).

>search sword art online
>receive sword art online
Honestly, I am impressed.

>zombie forms of ancient memes
Fucking reddit.

>searching Sword Art Online gives Sword Art Online
Dear Lord, Google sure has come a long way.

My mistake; wrong picture.

Oh wow. It works
