A guy dies.
A story about a girl who falls in love with a boy and was able to confess without any deus ex machina
He gets reincarnated in a low fantasy world.
In the future, mankind is embroiled in a seemingly endless war against an advanced alien race. Trillions die each year on both sides. In order to end the war, a young boy is implanted with alien DNA in hopes of creating a hybrid that can bridge the communications gap between the two civilizations. He's sent on a mission into alien space on an advanced ship designed to be the fastest in the galaxy. Can he succeed in this mission, or will his lose of his humanity cause him to turn on his people?
There's a bunch of people in costume because it's a cosplay convention or Halloween or something. Anyway, some mysterious figure turns everyone into what they're dressed up as, to the point of gaining superpowers or changing gender if they were crossdressing. The figure then sends everyone to some new location for a battle royal or something
Lacrosse Anime.
MC is a goalie.
I'd glance at this occasionally while gaming
A boy falls in love with a girl. He is able to confess, but the girl reveals that "she" is actually a cross dressing boy, but agrees to go out with the boy if that doesn't matter to him.
There's quite a few lacrosse manga
>show is your typical otakubait animu
>mc kun is beta male with his harem, sitting by the window, falling over on boobies and cliches
>harem consists of tsundere, big boobied sempai, himedrills, kuudere, and your other regular cookiecutters
>first episode is romance, comedy, fanservice filled slice of life that looks similar as all other animu
>in episode two, fireshadow, mc's father reads newspaper about stock market crashing
>mc kun harem romance story still goes as usual throughout the episodes
>viewers won't pay attention to these and focus on mc story
>next ep background has news bulletin of an upcoming election
>more and more foreshadowing background events each ep
>car accident involving politician, blackmail in parliament, workers on strike
>foreground story shows mc and harem dealing with the effects of events
>mc can't buy birthday gifts for harem as price gone up
>one of the harem girl quits her job as the company shuts down
>shit gets more intense over time
>mc and harem walks to school, background shows smoke clouds
>roads to school were closed as riots broke out
>mc and harem can no longer go to out at night as government announce curfew
>mc's father and other supporting cast lose their jobs as economy crashed
>mc went to stores, riots downtown at the mart with rioters packing stuff for something that is coming
>one day, mc and harem went to park
>foghorns, explosions and gunshots
>country now in state of emergency
>mc has to survive through a conflict with his harem
>cookie cutter animu archetypes proved useless in real life conflict
>injured tsundere pretends daijoubu and refuses help, falls from infection
>hime ojou sama got trampled trying to bribe rioters as money is practically useless in a war
>edgelord emo kuudere thousand yarded
>big breasted fanservice girl ganged mercilessly
>mc learnt power of love and friendship can't save someone
>show ends with mc and the last harem girl covering from a bomb strike
What's this? Yaoi?
BL. Yaoi is an outdated term.
They're all women's lacrosse. Which sucks huge dicks compared to men's lacrosse.
Law of civilization:
You can't advance a civilization without a form of written language to keep records
If they can write, then they can be communicated with
Oh, and war has only 3 driving force:
resources, politics, and religion. Since they hold no power on Earth, if the aliens have no intention of grabing new territories/minerals, then they are doing it for their diety.
If you plan to fix your story, then you will be doing a plenty of fixing
A boy falls in love with a girl unable to confess he is gifted with by a deus ex machina with the girl's phone number. Never minding the strange area code, he immediately calls her, and is overjoyed to find out that she has a crush on him as well.
But, the next day, when he recounts the previous day's confessions to the girl, she only looks at him with a perplexed expression. After some investigation, he finds out that the girl he called is not the same girl he fell in love with. In fact, she doesn't exist in this universe at all. She is the girl's alternate universe counterpart, who has fallen in love with the MC's own AU self, who too is blissfully unaware of her crush.
Hijinks ensue as the two strike up a deal to give each other their darkest, most private secrets in order to equip the other with the weapons they need to conquer the heart of their other selves. While the two chase their respective loved ones, DRAMA ensues as they begin to fall in love with each other instead and question the NATURE of LOVE.
A story revolves around a serial killer the victims and a detective. Its all from a perspective of a lamp. Each episode is narrated by different kinds of lamp.
The fuck you smoking?
Would there be dialogue between different lamps that witnessed the crime?
Something good, because this sounds interesting as fuck.
An alien intelligence wouldn't think like a human intelligence. An alien written language will not necessarily be decipherable to humans. Hell, there are human written languages from ancient civilizations that we can't translate. Have you ever heard of Linear A? Further, a bad first contact where the two sides misunderstand the others actions which leads to shots being fired can certainly be the basis for war. Though I suppose you could still put that down to religion, even if it's not religious as is typically understood.
Isekai with a chess theme.
MC is an ordinary student who inexplicably gets transported into a magical world where he finds out he has some Macguffin power that holds the white 'Good' kingdom together. Now he has to be protected by the kingdom's mightiest beings (who all coincidentally are cute girls) while using his brains to defeat the black 'Evil' kingdom that also runs on the same Macguffin power.
'Queen' is the classic tsundere twintailed blonde princess who also has the greatest magic and thus is an almighty bitch (with a 'heart of gold'). Over time she falls deeper and deeper into love with the MC and because I'm sick of this kind of characters she loses the MCbowl in the end.
'Rook' is the stoic kuudere bodyguard assigned to MC who is straightforward in everything. In one arc she sacrifices herself when the MC gets cornered and is facing a certain death, a la castling.
'Bishop' is an ara-ara Christmas Cake mage, and 'Knight' is the genki kemonomimi horse-girl with ponytail. Both serve no purposes other than waifu-baiting and perhaps a spin-off series where the two explore the wonders of yuri.
The characters in the black side are all of the opposite gender. Their 'King' is a mysterious psychotic loli who stops at nothing for her gains. Their 'Queen' is always cloaked, and near the end he turns out to be MC's best friend who also got sucked into the world but conked his head hard and had an amnesia.
All the 'Pawns' are generic female footsoldiers, but one particular 'Pawn' is always emphasized whenever MC sees her. She is the first person to find MC in this world and over time he grows in love with her. She is then sent into a hopeless battle that almost guarantees her death, but at the climax of the story she turns out to be alive AND is a long-lost sister of the Queen and thus has the same powers as the Queen. She also wins the MCbowl.
>You can't advance a civilization without a form of written language to keep records
What about species with absolute memory?
At the end of every episode there's a mini summary of the story so far which involved all the lamps discussing the show in a comedic way.
This may just be the next Door Punch.
Nay.
A language only becomes undecipherable if there is nothing to compare it with. A language that is still alive and well-spoken is anything but "mysterious"
Furthermore, no ones goes to war simply out of bad first contact. You make contact for many reasons.
If the contact goes bad, your next actions will be decided by how badly you wanted what they own.
>absolute memory
Dude, the human brain is already inappropriate to it's body size and consumes 20% of our everyday diet just to keep running.
And yet, the average user can't remember how not to reply to trolls.
An "absolute memory" that can hold milenias of scientific discoveries would need planet size grey matter and would need an entire star to keep running.
Aka: biologically impossible
I'm going to sleep.
I'll argue again later or something
Wasn't this on reddit or something?
Reverse that.
Some guy spent a lot of time living out a life as a hero in a fantasy world, saving people, getting to know them, and falling in love. However, everything goes wrong at the final confrontation with the demon king. He acts like he's in on some grand joke, absolutely unconcerned with the heroes efforts to defeat him. He giggles even as he's struck down, using his dying breath to reveal the truth to the MC.
He wakes up in a modern day hospital, having been in a coma for years. The love of his life and all of his friends never existed and his body is a wreck. He doesn't even remember what his life was like before and wants to go back to his dream. From time to time he hallucinates about his companions, monsters, and the demon king, or that he still has his powers, but reality always manages to butt in.
Still, he tries to be the hero he's thought he was for so long, even keeping up his training as best he can, and sometimes his hallucinations and the voices he hears show him things or provide warnings of a sort. It's kind of like his subconscious intuition is picking up details about people and situations, and it warps his perceptions. He sees some people as monsters, even mistakes a few as his friends, and so on.
The story is just watching him go about acting like some fantasy hero, perhaps accompanied by his real-life little sister who's exploiting the fact that he's completely fucking insane to get him to do things for her and her friends.
Never heard of this from reddit
Does no one have the picture in its original size anymore?
create anime plot

Well
You have to admit those ideas in this thread are so shit compared to Keitai ai
Young man decides after his mother is mugged and murdered to clean the streets of vermin. His ex-military uncle helps him learn killing techniques and weapon skills. His signature weapons are a Fairbairne-Sykes knife and handcrafted silenced 9mm automatic pistol.
Young man starts killing petty thieves in the act of crime. Moves on to bigger fish. Kills a few bad politicians and corrupt policemen. Eventually gets entangled with Yakuza and so on.
Yakuza want to enlist him as a hitman. A government secret force also want to enlist him as a hitman. If he disobeys, both entities will mark him for death. He has to play both off of the middle to survive, sometimes killing agents of both sides minutes apart.
I don't know where I'm going with this
An idea for a non-existent anime grips an internet community so hard that its users begin actually producing the said anime.
shonen protagonist notices that the death of his friends makes him cry, shout and get stronger, so he decides to kill all of his friends and make new one
>shota discovers a large asteroid heading towards earth
>nobody believes him
>government is keeping it hush-hush to avoid mass panic
>they build underground shelters to save the rich
>shota and his scientist-engineer grandfather start building a spaceship to flee earth
MC's music playlist becomes cute girls
A guy confesses to a girl that he's unable to fall in love.
The girl says: "challenge accepted!" hilarity ensues.
She will then proceed to try and hook him up with various school mates, but all of her attempts fail. At one point her fujoshi friend will suggest that perhaps the guy has "different" tastes. That will lead to even more exhilarating situations.
In the end pretty much every student in the school will be put under the test and the girl will realize that only one person remain: herself.
What part of "alien intelligence won't think like a human intelligence" do you not understand? They may not have the same motivations as a human. An alien species may not even use the same senses to perceive the world around them. How do you communicate with something that uses hearing, scent, and taste as their primary senses, with a bodyform that more resembles a bobbit worm than a hairless ape, and their "written language" is a string of patterns that aren't letters or hieroglyphs as we know them read kind of like braille, except instead of touch, they use the tasters on the tip of their anteater like tongue? Where do you even begin to establish a dialog with them? Even once you overcome the difficulties of the biological barriers, you still have to deal with the mental barriers that come from the very different way of thinking such a creature would have. Simply put, this is not a human with a bumpy forehead that while having some cultural quirk in the end thinks and acts pretty much like we would, it's a truly alien species.

A girl falls in love with a boy, unable to confess, she gives him passive aggressive hints and tries to spend a lot of time with him. However, the boy doesn't notice her attempts. As she spends more time with him, she notices that he's surrounded by a lot of other girls too, all of whom seem to have a generic anime personality. She comes to the realization that she's a character in a harem anime. After carefully studying harems, she comes to the conclusion that statistically she's the girl least likely to win. She vows to do whatever it takes to win the boy's heart. However, one of the other girls is a yandere, so will the girl even survive this?
tl;dr self aware anime girl in a harem with a yandere as the main villain
I approved
Jokes aside, how many of you anons are writing webnovels for real? Are they ok?
> writing webnovels
I only write script for comic but most of them are shitty therefore I'm not gonna make any soon
I am.
Also, I tend to do a lot of concepts for stories before stockpiling them for future use. And I steal some of your ideas.
Jokes on you my ideas are shitty you cant steal shit
I'd watch that.
Isn't that basically the lie the sax player tells Marilyn Monroe in Some like it Hot?

A low-fantasy setting with the protagonist being a squire(young boy) to a knight, eventually learning how to be a knight, then having to save towns from orcs, witches, and other assorted baddies. Takes place in a very cold part of the world.
It would only last a season or two, and it would be expensive, but it would be worth it.
Setting is a vast pan-Asian futuristic dystopia. MC is a "bouncer", an illegal combat cyborg used as an enforcer by criminal gangs, built out of mismatched military hardware that's been jacked. She takes stims to enhance her effectiveness, and she has a drug problem. When a raid goes wrong and one of her eyes is shot out, she gets a new cybernetic replacement and begins to have visions of OSIRIS, an A.I. (or not?) who claims to have at one point been a real person cut up into parts and used by a shadowy conspiracy as a pattern for the A.I. and robot intelligence that governs the world. OSIRIS claims that darkness has consumed the world and things must be set right.
The visions MC has sometimes transport her wholly into a fantastical, Egyptian-inspired realm of the dead where everyone in her environment takes on aspects of mythology. She seeks out the different parts of OSIRIS to install into herself and come to a deeper understanding of the conspiracy. Swapping out parts reduces her own combat effectiveness, so the journey becomes more difficult as she progresses - and the MC starts to become confused about her own identity and the identity of OSIRIS. Things take a turn for the worst when one of the parts she installs draws the attention of MELINOE, an unknown A.I. (or not?) which seems to exist purely as a stream of information and which promises to drag her to a realm of nightmare.
The overall theme and resolution of the series would tap classical mythologies and have a Neoplatonic vibe, with a focus on examining how much an individual intelligence can exist in the spoke of a much more encompassing and world-determining mind.
Outline all the time, but I suck at figuring out how to do structure properly. The three act structure is hard when you have to fill it in.
Trying to do a comic, but it's a hard time to look for an artist.
Cute girls have cute boxing matches.
It's like Upotte, but with clothing instead of guns.
The main cast are all kinds of undergarments in a fashion school.
Trap seduces his divorced otaku father
Underground people rediscover the surface world
Try this for ideas.
Witcher anime. It's pretty much a harem already.
>Janitor's of the Apocalypse
The new millennium was greeted with fire, blood and fear. After a Japanese naval vessel discovers a strange signal sounding from below the deeps they decide to investigate but after getting involved in an accident it leads to more and more of Kaiju like creatures emerging from below the depths to wreck havoc, to help the public affected by these attacks an insurance agency was set up and our main character joined one of these groups, however while her boyfriend joined the military to combat the Kaijus and defend the country our MC quickly learns she is in one of the most disrespected companies around, nicknamed "Janitors of the Apocalypse". Each episode follows her traveling from town to town, city to city helping people in distress who have been effected by these traumatic events.

I cant recall if i ever seen this before or not
this makes me think i´d love to see an entire cour dedicated to Muv Luv Extra´s Lacrosse arc.
Boy turns into girl, dykes out
Super over the top/analytical curling anime. I suspect the Japanese will love it because it's basically just subtle actions with lots of strategy and yelling good luck to your teammates.
sexy women in the zombie apocalypse
You're too late
HOTD did that years ago
Vest I can come up with right now.
Slice of life anime about the Olympic Gods abd the hijinks they go through, which can be based off of their myths. They still act the same with being rapey, jealous and assholes in general, but it won't be as bad since anime can kind of get away with that.
Cast would be mostly bishies and waifus. The children of the original 4 Olympians would look around 13-15. The original 4 and Aphrodite would look in their late teens, and the Titans would look like young adults, and the original beings would look middle aged. Season 2 miht deal more with Roman mythology, with them dealing with a name change.
The tragic tale of a qt trap getting absolutely BTFO by puberty.
Sorry about those spelling errors. Drunk posting right now.
That´s a good idea, actually.
Gender-Bended Philosophers in High-School.
Thanks dude. Kind of thinking of a good name now.
My Little Olympian God Can't Be This Cute
Hockey anime as discussed by a WaAP thread:
4 friends go to the ice rink to go skating and stuff. End up getting bullied and beat up by some bigger kids. Turns out their on a HS hockey team, and they're all goons. MC and his friends steel their resolve and decide they need to start a team for their school so that they can regain their honor or whatever in a hockey tournament. They can't find two more players though. Eventually they run into some kids (from their own school no less!) at another ice rink, and they're really good hockey players! One is playing goalie, and the other is taking a shit ton of really fast, accurate shots. They go over and find at that the goalie is a girl, and is the other player's sister!
Then they start training, because they're all awful. They have a scrimmage against a middleschool team and they can only win because of goalie-chan being a wall in front of the net.
As luck would have it, a Canadian moves into town, and joins the team to really fill out the roster.
During a practice, they run into last year's champion team, and they try to poach goalie-chan, but she turns them down.
The tournament starts, and the first team they play against is full of goofball trickshot "flow" players who just like having fun. They don't have the fundamental skills of the sport down because they're all trying to show off for girls and steal the puck from each other, so they end up losing the game.
The next game is against the goon squad that bullied the kids in the beginning. They're whole strategy is to abuse the opposing team into submission, with tremendous results. They end up sandwiching goalie-chan and injuring her, which means that the scrub underclassman has to come in and try to hold onto their one goal lead. They're able to get through with a win, but goalie-chan breaks her collarbone, so she's out for the foreseeable future. At the hospital, the team visit is interrupted by the championship team's captains as they are giving their condolences, and their regret that they won't be able to play against the team at their best. They assure MC and the crew that they'll still be giving it their all, and they expect them to do the same.
The day of the finals game appears, and it's a good game with both sides going at it. The champions take an early lead, but unbelievably the challengers are able to force an overtime. The game ends with a best of seven shootout, and ends with MC missing his final shot and losing it all
Congratulations are given, for them performing so well, and a declaration that they'll make sure to beat them next time when goalie-chan has recuperated.
One off plot ideas:
The boys constantly asking goalie-chan for advice on how to talk to the curling girls, or the figure skaters.
Audience finds out that goalie-chan's boyfriend was their one classmate who was at all the games cheering for them.
Having one if not all of the boys accidentally walk in on goalie-chan while she's changing into her gear.
The figure skater girls are all bitches, and bullies her constantly, but she keeps it hidden from her teammates and her brother. She ends up punching one of them out cold.
MC and the crew find out that goalie-chan is a really good figure skater, but still chooses to play hockey to spend time with her dad and brother.
...
I want a story about cute Romans doing cute Senatorial things.
my favorite from the last thread
This is the biggest wish fulfillment beta idea I've ever read. Are you about to go on a school shooting spree or something?
A story about a $magical_creature who really wats to help people and do good, but inevitably ruins everything. At the beginning of the story it's funny, played for comedy, but it slowly becomes more sombre. No dramatic reveals or angst, just a steady decline into suffering. But the episodes are in reverse order and intermittently narrated in 2nd-person past tense, except the last. So the show goes from pretty miserable to light-hearted and then jumps back to finish the story.
History of Britain from the Norman conquest through to Waterloo, represented via cute girls at an all-girl international diplomat's school. Yuri, obviously.
