Nah. It was pretty good. Too drawn out by like 10 episodes, but the story of the arc was largely interesting.

That's only assuming if they go to where she is. From the looks it, the Tyler sisters will be associated with Yuya and Co since they have a vendetta and mission against the lancers. I could see a conflict between Gloria and Grace though.

Both of the sisters were basically on the ground out of their heads in disbelief. One was just more wowed than the other.

The point being that any demonstration of EGAO and ENTAME just breaks people.

I don't see how it 'broke' Gloria though or any after effects from it. She still seemed to focus with their mission to stop the lancers even after she got 'broken' from her duel with Yuya and Shun, which is funny.

Those eps were among my favorites, filled with fun character interaction and neat action. They weren't a waste whatsoever.

Over all, we spent way too much fucking time in Synchro. Fuck Roger for making us go through such a big jobber tournament, and fuck him for being such a shit villain by the time that the arc was over. He blew all of his potential by just flying off the handle.

Eh, I don't agree on Roger. He was largely competent and understandably upset when virtually years of planning all went awry over a couple days and his showing vs Reiji was creative as fuck even in spite of his breakdown.

Friendship cup was like 9 eps too long for its own fucking good. if they cut out the entire first round aside Shun/Dennis and Yugo/Sawatari and trimmed the later duels down, it would've been pretty good, but goddamn.

It's seriously disappointing though, to go from "This guy looks like a chessmaster, so he'll be fun to watch go up against Reij," only for it to become "Wow, this guy gets mad like a child" to "He's literally out of his mind crazy."
