Find out next time on another exciting installment of Dragon Ball Z

>final scene is a sequel bait
Where could they even take this show?

Hulk smash!

...

I thought the whole "let me choose for myself this once" line was really out of place. Dude has been doing anything he wanted the whole series and now he feels like fate hasn't been on his side?

S3 when?

I'm kind of okay with this continous flavour of the week monster thing as it makes some sense philosophically speaking.
Because the monsters in all of us are still out there

I wish S3 is more like S1. More mystery is better.

Maybe they'll go back to monster-of-the-week. That would be good. And some Banba x Crazy Ainu hag shipping, hunting down monsters together.

Very good last episode. Said that no one on Sup Forums gives a fuck. This should have had a lot more hype.

Kimura's Kagewani was beautiful
S3 confirmed, Kimura might still live, Banba or Honma evolved and went berserk. Absolutely beautiful finale

>Kimura might still live
I thought Banba ate them both and not just his kagewani?

I'm mad that chink granny died for literally nothing. Fuck the edgy bitch, she didn't even manage to use that dagger.

Good night you fabulous bastard.

Well, its not the first time Banba "kills" Kimura, and Kagewani was leaving Kimura's body, so it won't be too far-fetched to say he let him live.
Bravo team couldn't find the body either. If they managed to locate Honma's torn body at the bottom of the well, I think they'd locate leftover bits of Kimura too

Kimura alive confirmed.

He was acting on behalf of humanity, I think
It might've been fairly misguided, but he probably thought of it like that.
Then at his final moments he chose to give up on his ideals, "dooming" the humanity in order to let his old friend/rival grant him a comfortable death

Kimura is such a magnificient bastard. S3 is pretty much confirmed at this point right?

I love the anticlimax on that dagger throw though.

Jitsuni fuyukai da

RIP Kimura. You were a nice guy.
Damn that final scene was emotional

>two villains defeat each other
I hate such endings.

I laughed at banba getting his kagewani "disease" getting sucked in too. He still got his scar power I suppose.

Honma was a mistake.

It didn't end so well for him.

Creepy. Multiple eyes on humanoid is my weakness, extra bonus is if it is eyelidless and crying itself all the time.

The ending pretty much set us up for a 3rd season. Kinda hope they'll go back to monster of the week but lets see if we do get a 3rd season or not

S2 came outta nowhere in first place, I don't think they care about successfulness of the show. S3 is very likely
I hope the ED will be just as good as arrival of fear and egoist unfair

Looks like honma or part of his body is alive too.

Monster of the week is alright too but they are going to get eaten by banba if found since he still has the kagewani.

I hope S3 has some kind of global and large-scale kagewani/monster infestation.

I'll miss this fabulous bastard. He was a good villain.

>we get to see the mole one last time
Thank you based Banba

You can't imagine how upset I felt when I saw his mask covering his mole.

R.I.P kimura ;_:

>american kagewani elite hit squads come to do a full take over of the japanese kagewani

Another kagewani ate honda and evolved.

Dammit, Carlos! I actually laughed.

>Banba doing invisible pole dance while Kimura strip teases.

I wouldn't mind if the format ended up being closer to the train episode, where Banba is on the run and they purposefully make or summon monsters to try and stop him. It'd lead to more bizarre corruptions spreading into uninvolved creatures.

Did he bite the dust or can we rebuild him? Do we have the technology? It looked very obvious that he died at the end of season 1 but it didn't show it there either.

>RIP Kimura
Implying.

That was hilarious.
>flashback to obaasan
>ED theme starts playing
>dagger flying
Oh shit!
>music stops, Kimura catches it

Goddammit, i laughed.

There must have been some meaning to revealing he had kagewani eyes under his borg eye then showing it disappear. Was it meant to show he let go of possessing the kagewani and could be saved from it? Or did it simply visually demonstrate him accepting he was only human and not chosen?

next horror anime ETA: 10-15 years

Seeing this season was for kagewani, next one will be yamishibai s4? S3 wasnt that spooky but that ending revelation though.

That fact is the true horror right here

You know Kimura is cool if he can stop the insert song and all of the momentum that comes with it. It reminds me of when Aizen pulled the same thing in Bleach.

I really need a season 3. And I need the moment where Kimura is revealed to be alive and an insert song to play. I'm already excited for it just imagining it even though it might never happen.

Season 1 was so cool. Why did they decide to turn the show into spoopy Naruto? Nearly all the monsters this season sucked.

Don't joke about this. After the trainwreck that was S3 they should just let Yami Shibai stay dead and buried.

yep :(

It is to remind us of his lovely beauty spot that is still there and he is still beautiful.

Nah, you're probably spot on really.

What? The ending just showed that since the story teller is just a beginner, his story is shit. Now if we get back to adult story teller spooky which didnt rely on cartoonish creepy creation, I think it would be nice again.

Please dont use emoticon on Sup Forums

KAGEWANI theme when?
S3 FUCKING WHEN?

just ost when

I just want Arrival of Fear, man. Really bad.

He truly was the coolest guy.

I can only find it on youtube

On one hand, season 2 was a lot more chuuni and lacked monster variety. On the other, it had Kimura. There were good things about both.

>that pose
2darkness4me

Am I kawaii?

That actually looks quite good.

>that effeminate giggle
I don't remember that.

Thanks, based user. Been looking for this since last year.

I remember it.

Since this is the last thread, what was your favorite monster? If you need a refresher, there's episode summaries on CR.

Pixiv, please.

Inb4 sea monster. Its episode was definitely one of the best, but as a monster I'm more fond of the kagewani itself, and the vaginal hole mothman. I think the chameleon creature could have been really great but the escape made it feel too easy - imagine the same monster ability but in the scenarios of other episodes, like the cult, or just in the larger shopping area the medusa showed up in.

Which one was the chameleon?

S1 convenience store setting where a girl was trying to shoplift, it was like a big frog guy who turned invisible. Kimura's men dowsed it with fire.

This episode was simply amazing, I love how Kimura wanted to do something for the well being of mankind until the very end, even if it wasn't in the most orthodox way.
Godspeed, white prince.

See you in Act 3. pls buy the dvd

>>Banba doing invisible pole dance while Kimura strip teases.
Fucking fuck you, I can't unsee it now.

It looked more like they're having a dance-off to me.

>West Side Kagegatari

Only when he was at his monstrous, did he achieve his humanity.

Deepest lore.

There was nearly a lesson about karma when the girl was almost killed by a deadly monster because she stole a tube of lip balm. That episode is memorable to me mainly for that reason.

Agreed. The first season actually had really great, and genuinely spooky monsters almost every week. The sense of thrill was there, especially on the episodes with the hiker, the couple in the submarine and the jellyfish creatures. This season felt like it was the monsters were just tacked onto episodes that were intended to be plot-driven not monster-driven.

Kimura best guy.

I hope he makes it into season three, if only as an apparition within Banba.

Jellyfish monsters because of the horror of somebody turning into a creature but still being human on the inside.

This is probably the only thread I can ask.
What's going to happen with US-AT next season? Summer is almost here and I haven't heard any shows at all announced. Is the time slot going off the air? I've grown attached to shitty low budget unconventional 7m50s shorts.

...

...

The fuck? Cross-overs?

End cards with the USAT mascot characters.

youtube.com/watch?v=k3ULG1fHazA

very good show.

I wasn't as big a fan of the turn to having a bigger overarching plot line in this season, because I really liked the whole atmosphere and individuality each monster of the week had. That said, it was still pretty good for what it was.

Yeah, I'm really curious too, these were the perfect length for shorts and I've enjoyed quite a few of them. It'll be a shame if it ends after having just ran a year. It'd also probably lower the chances of S3.

Wha the fuck am I looking at? Also Kagewani has fanart? Whoa.

Mascots of what exactly? Also is the promo done by sanzigen?

Mascot of the time slot, Ultra Super Anime Time.

>inb4 subtle s3 annoucement with them teaming up with kimura and banba.

So what now? Are Banba and the crazy gal going to travel Japan together now hunting down Kagewanis for the rest of their lives?

very beautiful way to wrap up this show

u.pomf.is/rjasrz.webm

I like this part a lot for some reason. He really sounds like he's absolutely loving that power. Does Kimura still have a wiener?

Ryotaro Okiayu did a good job.

Maybe he has a mechadick now? Depending on how much of his body got eaten.

At least one of his legs must be robotic since he makes a whirring noise like a dental drill whenever he walks, and he had a cane for a while. Having a laser shooting mechadick could drive a man to do crazy things that other people concerned about their humanity wouldn't think of.

>mechadick is actually another kagewani vacuum

>this thread is still alive
Kimura MUST come back for S3.

So was Kimura a Kagewani since the end of S1?

Anyone interested in MSS Phantom and MSS Party? Couldn't find PiruPiruTUNE.

Why is there so many MSS'? Or is it all related?
youtube.com/watch?v=Bvu74O3upps

MSS Project name all their albums MSS Psomething.

It's labeled as drawn by Ryouma Hori, the character designer, so it might not count as fan art.
I Google'd his name and found this. I wonder if it's the same person?

i have no clue why i watched 2 seasons of this
