Eyes Wide Open /EWO/ Pizzagate

>yfw it's real

Yeah does that include "I lost my son at the mall 4 minutes ago" and "dad took kid after he split with mom" type shit?

Fucking hell it's not all fucking pedos. Probably 1/5 of it is pedos, TOPS.

mass public executions of pedos and traffickers prime time on every channel

>hey that's cool guys, only 160,000 of them are being raped, traumatized for life when not killed by pedos
>le pizzagate meme xDDD
>it's all conspiracy you rednecks

Yeah, 160k is too much, but overinflating numbers is fucking retarded and you'll rightfully get called a conspiracy theoriest doing leftist-tier mental gymnastics.

Let's get the real numbers instead of going with le 6 gorillion chilluns.

nobody inflated any numbers, chachi.

800,000 are reported missing per year - you threw in a "probably 1/5", and you have no idea.

but here's the kicker, asshole - even if it's 1/50 of these kids going to pedos. even if it's 1/500 - that's TOO MANY.

there is no overinflation of kids being trafficked to pedos, period. any number is too high.

>800,000 are reported missing per year - you threw in a "probably 1/5", and you have no idea.
Neither do you. It's far more likely that the overwhelming majority of cases of missing kids aren't pedo-related. Just going off of common sense. This is labelled as "pizzagate", show better stats or gtfo.

this is labelled as pizzagate because it is the battle cry of Sup Forums on this topic, that we are going to do massive damage with one day or the other, you can trust me on this. This is human trafficking related.
It's not like 600,000 of them have gone LoS in the supermarket for 10 mn. Threads like this should be all around Sup Forums, all the time. Even with basic google-tier stats like this one.

Don't try to logic pol.

Obviously 1 million children a year aren't sacrificed to moloch.

An honest acedemic would admit that the number of those instances is probably in the tens of not single digits.

I thought the Moloch thing is a meme?

The numbers quoted from the study are from 2002, and include "58,200 nonfamily abductions".

Is your position that an estimated nearly 60,000 nonfamily abductions in one year is acceptable?

Mate I'm not saying that at all. My point is that there's a yuge difference between 60k and 800k. Don't inflate the numbers for shock value is my point. Of course it's too much.

...

The study goes further to explain that as few as 5% of nonfamily abductions are even reported/recorded in the statistics....

but it goes back to my original point - ignoring the stats completely - even if it's hundreds of kids being abducted for pedo trafficking - that's too many.

800k gets us talking about it, and even as an abuse of statistics - it's fair because any number is worth talking about in this case. does anyone want to be the guy in the back of the room saying that we should normalize pedos because the actual number of kids abducted really isn't that high?

Yeah, no. If any number of kids matter you wouldn't need to b8 people with 800k per annum. That number is fucking insane and it's easy for one to spot it as fake news.

Fuck, even most liberals care about kids. There's no need to do that shitty tactic.

I think we agree - but to further hone the argument...

following the strand deeper, it's clear that the ncmec has muddied the waters with how it even defines each category of missing/exploited...when confronted by 800k, should a rational person say, "oh that's a bogus number" and then just walk away without doing more research?

i put it to you that even in the face of bogus stats - it should drive people deeper into the data, especially on this sensitive of a topic...because even when you come away from it with the stat that "Of the more than 18,500 endangered runaways reported to NCMEC in 2016, one in six were likely victims of child sex trafficking."...if you read that and go, "oh, only 3,000 sex trafficked kids. that's not so bad", then something else is very wrong.

If it is a small group of people doing the abductions then the stats would show that it's a minute percentage of the whole. But these are the cases where there will be no hope of any closure for the family, and undoubtedly the victims will suffer horribly. It's something that you can't turn a blind eye towards because of "muh .001%"
