What would happen if Gappy met an AU Josefumi or Kira a la D4C?
Funny Vorelentine
i still don't exactly understand the reason why some stands seem to have a "mind of their own" (Surface, Whitesnake)
Does it mean the user has less "consciousness" or something like that? Or that they have a deeper subconsciousness?
STOP
I thought it was just Pucci talking through Whitesnake? Though there are some examples of stands talking to the user of their own accord, like Spice Girls. Its probably just a deeper part of their subconscious talking as the stand like you said.
Anyone else in solidarity with animeonlyfags?
When I first read JoJo years back I kind of rushed through (but still read all of) Parts 1 and 2 so that I could get to the good stuff (Part 3 onwards) which I really enjoyed.
I didn't watch the anime for a long time because I'd read the mango but caved in now that everyone's talking about it. To my surprise I enjoyed Parts 1 and 2 to a FAR larger extent than before. I thought they made fantastic use of color and were all around an audiovisual treat. Closing off with Roundabout also felt just so right.
After having a blast with the first season, I found myself not enjoying Stardust Crusaders as much, even though the opposite was true when I was reading the manga. The use of color isn't as good, it drags much more, and there aren't as many humorous moments (though the final fight arc was extremely well done). Even Diamond is Unbreakable's adaptation seems to lack a little something that the first season had.
I understand the disdain for animefags but I also totally see where they're coming from when they say Part 2 is the best. "Hamon is better than Stands" is badly worded and I don't agree, but I completely understand the intent of the statement.
No, Pucci was arguing with Whitesnek at one point
SONO CHI NO SADAME
its just a matter of taste. i like stands more but i don't see all the hate for those who think otherwise.
Same goes with the preference for certain parts. there is no reason to call people names for liking an unpopular part other than being le cool jojo fan with le patrician taste.
JOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Wait Okayasu, something is weird don't eat any more of this pasta...I'm gonna break it down to its base ingredients!
DORA
Good Grief...
ORAORAORAORAORAORA!
Why is Jojo so based?
N I C E
I had the chapter open on my computer and it's 4 am so I shat this out
Nice work user.
5/10 made me answer
...
You did good, which is something considering how bad the posts are.
>Tonio prides himself on being an authentic Italian chef
>Uses dried spaghetti
Post best poses.
Just as I thought Okayasu, this guy isn't a fan concerned with the series direction, he's an animeonly hamon-fag in disguise! This pasta seemed reasonable at first, but when broken down to its base components its still
>muh hamon
>why isn't jojo the same as the other garbage power creep shounen?
>parts one and two are the best despite one-dimensional characters and development
>reading is hard, i just want to watch pretty colors flash on the screen like battle tendency
It was a good effort, but we won't be falling for your scheme today, animeonlyfag! Jonathan is worst jojo, part 2 is the weakest in terms of plot and characters, aside from Wamuu. Still love 1&2 tho
Your right, I forgot how weird Pucci and whitesnake were, especially in the beginning when Whitesnake was his own character basically. I can't think of anyother stand that talks like that outside of special circumstance(other than remote stands).
Is that shitty? I know nothing of authentic Italian cooking. The ingredients and shit made me hungry as fuck when I was reading it though.
So do anti-hamon weirdos like you hate SBR for having the spin, then?
"art"
I prefer how Araki draws Jonathan and Joseph now. Fite me
Im not actually anti hamon, just exaggerating for fun; them dropping hamon so suddenly actually really bothered me at first. That said, I was completely over it once I got to DiU, theres just so much more you can do with stands. Steel Ball Run is my favorite part actually, I love how the spin is linked to stands.
Like how he draws them in part 8 style for Jojonium covers? I like it, but the old style suits the story much better imo.
Praisley Park have her own mind ?
She don't talk like whitesnake but yasuho can't control the stand.
It's not shitty, but it's something that an authentic Italian chef probably wouldn't do. It's not hard to make fresh spaghetti and pasta-making is an important part of Italian cooking.
The sauce sounded pretty solid though, puttanesca's great, and it's cool how they list the ingredients. I wish it had mentioned putting capers in it though, they're one of the best parts. And it would've been fun if they'd called it puttanesca too, if only to hear the characters try and pronounce it.
youtube.com
Ah I see, guess Tonios not as good as he thinks he is and Pearl Jam is picking up the slack. I'm gonna try and make that puttanesca though, sounds awesome.
She has been capable of controlling it ever since she came face to face with it in the Lamborghini
>27th of July
Oh shit, I thought it was the 27th of this month, that's why I asked. Sorry.
Also, that theme is awesome, but it has parts we never hear in the anime. Same with the SC themes, we only heard the same bit over and over again, the music direction is fucking shameful sometimes (PB and BT were amazing tho).
>araki will retire after finishing JJL.
>araki will die in your lifetime.
I'd say it's probably more a case of making shit recognizable to a Japanese audience - it's way visually easier to tell dried uncooked spaghetti from cooked spaghetti than it is to tell fresh raw spaghetti from cooked stuff. And I noticed with the caprese salad that they'd presented it in a more typically Japanese style too, with the kind of lettuce - that stood out to me because they'd changed it a little from the manga one.
Good luck with your own puttanesca though, it's a really good and easy sauce to make.
But vampires can't die from age, user.
>Praisley
Why do so many people put the 'r' there? Or is it just the one guy? It's like people calling it 'Rokaka' when there's quite clearly a third 'ka'.
We'll probably hear those parts sometime fully in the anime, my best bet is we'll hear a whole lot of the song in Josuke-centric fights like Highway Star.
Honestly? In comparison to SDC's OST direction I think DiU's has been better so far, they've done a great job with character themes and using them to make their appearances interesting like Yukako or Akira's, and the battle themes have been nothing short of fucking great.
>Josuke vs Okuyasu
>Josuke vs Keicho and Bad Company
>The entire OST for the Yukako episode sounding peaceful and nice but going hectic when she has her yandere moments
>The entirety of the Tonio episode having 10/10 music
>RHCP 2 as a whole.
I have faith with this sort of music direction they'll make some of the fights that weren't really great PRETTY damn good, like Ratt. I'm just waiting for Rohan and Kira's themes though.
Favorite theme so far has to be the Josuke vs Bad Company theme and Okuyasu's theme, they're much better than the character themes in SDC by a mile.
Thats pretty interesting actually, I've never really thought about cartoon food prep in that capacity. And thanks user, I'll give it my best shot.
BD RIPS FUCKING WHEN?
...
Does anyone want to request a grotesque JoJo?
A Damo.
『Emperor Tomato Ketchup』
>Josuke vs Bad Company
Agree. That theme was fucking awesome, also, I want the full version of Koichi / Echoe's Theme already
I get how Made In Heaven works, and don't particularly think it's that much more of an asspull than most other stuff in JoJo, but my one question is how did DIO know how to make it?
Not to mention that its creation required the combined use of several incredibly specific stands, many of which probably didn't exist yet when DIO was alive. Did he have some sort of precognitive abilities? But if he could see the future makes even less sense given how surprised he was to get his ass kicked by Jotaro.
>how did DIO know how to make it?
He was high
You and me both, I'm wondering how fucking cool his theme will sound in SHA.
I actually had a little fun re-reading part 4 on bato.to with part 2's ost, and it was fucking amazing.
>Reading chapter 5 of SHA
>Get to the part where Echoes Act 2 falls into a cocoon again
> youtube.com
Shit was the best fucking experience I've had reading manga with music to accompany it
>hear me out Pucci. what if.... what if you fused your stand with a green baby.... and then it evolves into another stand.... that can make you fly....
>and when you get to a certain height your stand evolves again.... and it has horse legs.... and it can restart the universe infinite times... wouldnt that be totally cool pucci
I just wish they had more tracks for whenever Josuke is about to do something cool. One of my favorite parts about battle tendency was how diverse the music was during the fights.
Perhaps it could work with different stands, maybe it would've worked even better with a time-ability based stand like The World.
Had a similar experience, first time reading part 5 years ago.
youtube.com
This will be the "Buccerati vs Pesci and Prosciutto" theme for me, forever. Fucking crazy fight
Years later
>holy shit he actually did it the absolute madman
Also, I had this playing when AU Diego kicked in at the end of SBR, the chills I had that moment will always be a reminder that SBR = Best part for me
youtube.com
I think it was implied that his time in the coffin was when he realised all his fate stuff and at some undisclosed point in time he learnt from the Arrows about it or something. It's the one thing in Part 6 I wish we'd gotten added in. I really liked how Part 3 DIO was set up to be the saviour of all the wicked people in the world since they deserve a saviour as much as anyone else and how Pucc's rile in bringing all mankind to heaven tied into that and the same for DIO's 'peace of mind' speech to Polnareff, I just wish Part 3 DIO had gotten a little bit of character development since although still very much a bad person he's far more philanthropic than Part 1 Dio who was just being a cunt for the sake of it. Or at least have one more flashback chapter in Part 6 that focused solely on DIO and how his time in the coffin changed him and where he learned about Heaven, even if it was just a vision when he was stabbed with the Arrow or something.
I love Part 6 but that was one of it's biggest flaws.
>See SCR
>Momma hears that "OH MY GOD!"
>She ask me about that
>Show her the "Oh my god" compilation
>Now she screams "OH NO!" "OH MY GOD!" all the day
Ok Baby Face.
Shit man thanks, time to re-read those fights with these themes. A good music accompaniment to the manga makes some fights feel much better than without music, so I've found.
youtube.com
But funnily enough his EoH theme is literally perfect for the Josuke vs Kira fight youtube.com
It's got the slow, tenseness that suits the battle with moments where it sparks up the speed, if you read it in sync with the final fight of part 4 it's fucking god tier.
That said though I really want the part 2 OST maker to do the OST for part 5.
Jotaro pls
Agreed, Part 5 would benefit from a funky toned soundtrack like Part 2 but it's also gotta have some KC styled jazz for the more serious or emotional bits. I seriously hope they deliver, Part 5 is the one Part I really want them to get the music right for.
did dio ever graduate from law school?
I don't think so. He was still in university when it was discovered he was poisoning his adoptive father and he went out for one last night on the piss and became a vampire so I'm guessing he just didn't show up to lectures after that point.
It's sort of weird that the JoJo that's the best person is the worst JoJo, and the JoJo that's the worst person is the best JoJo. And that they're sort of the same person, too.
Johnny is CUTE OHMYDFUCKIWANTTOFUCK HIMINTHEWEEDASHHOLERFUCKYEANIGGGERAJPDPNBWF
I just noticed that.
youtube.com
>Johnny
>best jojo
its not that he's bad, but he certainly isnt the best. him being a fuckboy piece of shit at first doesnt help. Jolyne, Josuke and Jonathan are better jojos imho. even if i have to say, johnny has the best character development alongside jolyne.
Are you the user who's been reading JJBA for the first time recently and who really liked Shigechi?
Johnny is a dick at the end too. He really doesn't develop all that much throughout the part other than his relationship with Gyro.
Johnny's my 3rd favorite just under Gappy and Josuke, he felt like the most human out of all the JoJos since he wasn't a completely-good person or a shining beacon of hope, and his character development was a huge contribution to what made part 7 top-tier for me.
>Jonathan: Gentleman, Maximum Karma Level
>Joseph: Trickster, Memelord. Might not be objectively the nicest, but still a very loving and caring guy
>Jotaro: Good at heart, but acts like an edgy teen 90% of the time.
>Josuke: Sometimes an asshole, but mostly goes after his dad, in that he's a loving guy.
>Giorno: Innocent teen. Good at heart, but not much else. Also his dad is Satan.
>Jolyne: Daddy issues, kind of a bitch, but deep character development.
>Johnny: Begun as a complete douche, lost his legs because of assholery and later redeemed himself. Also cutest JoJo.
How do you measure who is "best jojo" anyways, is there a fucking mathematical formula?
Johnny are Jolyne are the best written for me, now that Gappy is finding his true personality I think he will be there too
there isnt a measurement, thats why i wrote "IMHO".
Ah, true. Sorry man.
Welcome to the true shitposters world
