Truly a project if you can tell a story using only animated line art
That's skill
Those aren't very good, to be honest.
>expecting a graduation project from a single person to be polished, colored and have sound
Come on, man.
No, but the motion should be much better than that because they didn't have to spend their time on cleaning up and coloring.
Why is Bahi so much better than Kyoto?

You can't really compare this with the student projects. They're going for completely different effects. This is all scratchy and full of grandiose action whereas the projects are cleaner and actually tell a story.
The first animation felt like a Senpai Club ripoff, and was too slow/had too little to watch, so it was boring.
The second was too difficult to pay any attention to, and didn't watch the rest.
These are all better than last semester's. Possibly partially because there's simply more to choose from (last semester I think there were 3 animations). Overall, I think 5 was probably the best, although I enjoyed the first and second ones more. 5 could have used some voices or at least a synopsis. But it still felt the most professional.
