I feel like this is more important then a "graduation".
Even Volume 20 which was again an Issei volume didn't have him on the cover.
I'm starting to get sick of Zero's shit Rias did not need yet another cover.

A lot of the girls already promised to jump to his peerage before, when he gets his King piece.
Now I wonder if it's just lending him the others or does Rias needs to look for new member for her peerage or will she retire early and focus on college(?) or something.

Asia,Xenovia and Ravel are most likely going and staying with him from now and Rias will most likely ask for them whenever she needs them.
Not sure about Rossweisse her case has only been brought up this volume so i don't know if it's permanently or whenever Issei/Rias needs her.

I dropped this when Issei started to NTR everyone and became the only important male character according to Sup Forums, shame though I enjoyed it before that since there were a lot of important characters doing their own things.

Huh? When has Issei stolen a girl? Also important characters are still all doing their own thing? Actually volume 21 had allot of important characters dying doing their own thing.

Raizer had it coming and in the end he was and still a bro/senpai when it comes into harem talk, Saji's case was not Issei's fault, Sona just has that sisterly thing to like/take what Rias likes.

That's not a large chunk. Azazel, Sirzechs, Odin and Michael are the only notable males in the list. The rest have had such a small presence in the series that they're not even worth mentioning.

Yeah, too bad they either have the libido of a fucking rock, leaving the generic Japanese schoolboy male to obtain his harem with no issue or are generic evil villain man.

There is no actual conflict in this series at all. Whenever things get difficult it's time for a new and "unexpected" Sacred Gear power-up to save the day and fix everything. This shit is a joke, but so are pretty much all LNs since they're written to cater to teenagers with a wish fulfillment need.

Yeah that's my complaint with the series. It wants to be taken seriously but the second a serious threat is presented, there's already a plan to deal with it.

It's held back by a main character that doesn't give a shit about anything outside of what makes his dick tingle. When you have a MC with such a narrow-minded focus of course your story's going to suffer. His likes and dislikes are utterly one dimensional to the point that it's insulting to even call him a character. He's utterly devoid of personality. His strength comes from conveniently timed new abilities. He's had maybe TWO fights in the entire series where he actually had to think because he couldn't outmuscle the other person.

But like I said you can't expect much from LNs, especially ones in this genre. Criticizing them for bland, boring, cardboard cutout male MCs is like being angry at water for being wet.

There's about a dozen important male characters so that is actually quite a large chunk.

One of Ria's dreams is still becoming the nr 1 in rating games so she might look for other servants, but do we really need to introduce another bunch of characters?

Well are we talking sales or what? Index is old as hell, so naturally sales are slipping. In terms of content, I don't see much of a problem with it. DxD doesn't have a lifespan that long anyways.

I'm talking in terms of how mind-numbingly stupid it is on all fronts. It was always a dumb series but at some point it just threw any sort of common sense, rationality, or semblance of a real plot to the wind.

About halfway through vol 7. What are some of the highlights in the later volumes?

It all around gets better drastically in volume 9, up until about 17 where it slows down. 20 and onward get back to being good. The highlights mainly come in fighting scenes and shit going down. You've barely gotten into any of the interesting stuff yet.

So that jacket around her is most likely the Kuoh college uniform. I'd like to see all the others wearing it.

Issei and Rias become an official couple.

Issei dies again but gets saved and returns and saves the Underworld.

Lots of characters were effectively killed off in the last volume.
