Did the CGI grow on you?
Sidonia
Not particularly.
Oh.
wihch 1 would u fug
Mech CG and Gauna CG were alright.
Character CG was meh, but i was okay with it by the end.
Also Smoogy a qt.

yeah. i only watched it because i like the series, i would never pay for the physical copy
Yes. Polygon is one of the studios I look forward to the most.
Yes, surprisingly.
It got bearable but I wouldn't say it grew on me
>60fps
Why is this allowed?
No it just made me read the manga instead.
You know, you could wring one more season out of Sidonia and avoid the bit where it goes to shit and never recovers.
They did
>the bit where it goes to shit and never recovers.
Does it really? I was about to pick it up
You can basically drop it after the rescue Tsunbot, it's the last gasp of what made the manga enjoyable before you can sense Nihei entirely losing interest.
It was 13 fps or some shit
After THEY rescue Tsunbot.
I'm feeling a little dyslexic today.
Yes, but I was disappointed it didn't have more dynamic scenery porn. Feels like a wasted opportunity to have a manga filled with that much scenery porn and have so much of it presented as static shots of 3d models.
Why drop a 78 chapter manga 52 chapters in? I can understand if you didn't care for the later chapters, but they weren't that bad.
>bearable
got through three episodes before i had to put it down
They really were that bad. All interesting elements were dropped in favour of shitty art and a lazy, rushed conclusion.
I thought the cgi was fine start to finish. Sure there were some weird character animations early on but I think it did get better and better as time progressed.
The white hair looks like shit, like they're made of paper, no highlight at all
I didn't mind the CGI after a while, but that doesn't mean I didn't care for it. The low frame rates annoyed me more though
From the start I didn't really mind it.
The giant gauna one.
This is one case where I'd pray for an anime-original ending.
