Do you believe you should pay for your health care?

Do you believe you should pay for your health care?

In the UK, healthcare is free. You can see a doctor, have operations, and in some cases, medication is paid for too.

What about your country?

Our healthcare is a joke and you know it.

If you actually want to get seen you need to go private.

In my country, I don't have to wait 4 months to see a doctor because the NHS is retarded.

UK healthcare is an absolute disgrace.

We need a eugenics program more than a healthcare program

Enjoy your "free" healthcare system collapsing under thr weight of all those shitskins leeching off Welfare.

What are you taking about? I can see a doctor within a few days. How is that a disgrace?

Good to know you've fallen for Tory propaganda and planned obsolescence. It happened with the trains, and now it's happening with the NHS.

Health tourism in the NHS accounts for 0.3% of the total budget.

My country spends the most on healthcare of any nation but has an abysmal life expectancy. Sad!

>muh trains
>muh fog
>muh free methadone from the NHS

Get it together Gwendolyn

>Do you believe you should pay for your health care?
Yes. I pay for food. What's your point?

Are you really asking if I think that there should be healthcare provided by the government?

Honestly, I think there should be, but only for really fucked up people. There are too many lazy shits that should be working like I am who want free healthcare. Get off your ass because you CAN work, and allow little Timmy who has a fucked up spine get that healthcare he needs because he CANNOT work.

NHS cured my cancer AMA

What's even your point? The Conservative party have been selling off our country bit by bit for short term profit for as long as they've existed.

> Free

Most of it is old people who don't work anyway tho?

Sure seems like the British empire doesn't get more than an hour or two of sunlight these days, what with all the fog.

I had to wait 6 months to find out if I had cancer.

Had a hard semi-painful lump on my right testy. Booked a doctors appointment and had to wait 2 months because it wasn't classified as an emergency. When I finally got to the day of my appointment I got a phone call from the doctor saying he was too busy today to see me and that he will just book me in for a scan at the hospital.

Had to wait another 6 weeks for the appointment of the scan, after walking through over crowded wards of dying old people waiting in corridoors for space to become available in the care rooms, finally made it to the scan ward.

Had my scan and asked the bloke who did it if he could tell me if I have cancer but he said he cant do that, I have to make an appointment with my GP to discuss the scan results, was almost certain at that point I had cancer. Waited another 4 weeks before he told me its a benign varicocell vain.

All for nothing.

Thanks NHS for all of that stress and worry for nothing just to get a 5 minute fucking scan.

[You must wait 6 months to see this reply]

>free
you know what taxes are?

Lol I had cancer and they scanned me with 2 hours of going to hospital

>free
>half your income is taxed away before you see it

ok

After going to the hospital I did not have to wait that long.
I had to wait months before being able to go to the hospital.

They have triage tents outside the A&E here and there are quite often ambulance queues to get in and out.

Our health service is overrun and money cant fix it.

biggest complaint of most people there, and the reason why people with serious illnesses travel to america or somewhere else in europe for treatment

takes fucking months just to see a specialist there, and they waitlist you behind people with more 'urgent' needs

If we want to live forever, we must rise above bureaucracies and embrace the vibrant wisdom/stupidity of the market. For man is diversely creative and will have countless ideas great and otherwise if we only stand back and watch. Cease to rush to judgment about final proper medical systems! We do not have the technology yet to wrest lifetimes from nature, and if we bind everyone under bureacratic authorities, we never will. Such systems will "rationally" conclude that life extension is too expensive and too speculative, for if there is one rule of government, it is the rule that there are never enough resources!
Seriously, everything the government does is over-budget and underperforming. That's the nature of the beast. Stop trying to fix the world with an engine that will start decaying the instant you begin deploying it. You can briefly do good things with government, but then it becomes a jobs program for little people who ought to be smart enough to get more productive jobs elsewhere. Only new programs are entirely functional, but old programs rarely die!

The NHS was originally expected to be cheap!

>You can see a doctor and have operations.
9 months to 2 years after you desperately needed it.
>free
The UK has enslaved doctors then?

Yes I do and no it isn't. Either way the cost will fall on the public. I do think we should have a system like yours though because it will cut overhead cost and keep costs down by eliminating profit.

>tfw i have no healthcare
>tfw i actually don't give a fuck
I wish more people were like me.

Sky News was talking about how it takes NHS 9 months on average for fucking spinal surgeries.

I had a nissen fundoplication for constant acid reflux, my surgeon got me in for the operation within 2 weeks.

Here we have free healthcare (SUS), but It's shit and only for poor people who can't pay a good private hospital or clinic.

I had to wait 3 weeks before going hosp but after my GP did a blood test I was in the next day. Been waiting 2 months for surgery now tho...

I remember when I wanted services performed, so I paid for them.

Lol, fucking communists wanting government to control their lives and provide shit services.

Kek

And eliminate any incentive to do a good job. Believe me mate, you don't want single payer healthcare

Pro tip: don't get cancer

I pay over 80k in taxes a year.

you're paying for your water, aren't you?

The NHS is absolutely shit

>grandad is still ok but could do with an operation
>"sorry we only do 1 big operation a month"
>a month goes by, my grandad is getting worse
>dies from his heart giving up

Th-thanks, EN HEICH ESS...

>Do you believe you should pay for your health care?
Do you believe that doctors have the right to be compensated for their work and to be able to afford food, rent and other essentials?

>In the UK, healthcare is free.

You don't have private hospitals in Britain? Only the NHS?

Not exactly rich to pay for the operation, bruv.

Jesus I thought I had it rough with 11k

Only cucks pay for water. I have a well.

>Do you let your wife get fucked by Ahmud?

>Do you believe you should pay for your health care?
It's not MY healthcare I'm worried about paying for, chap. It's Ty'Tweese Stevens' and Chondree Jackson's.

He's a brit, being a cuck is an assumption I have to operate with.

Is it THAT expensive? I mean, generally it's worth to get some debt to help your family.

...

I mean, here a cancer surgery would cost between 20 and 50 thousand R$ (that is, between 5 and 13 thousand pounds) on top hospitals

>Good to know you've fallen for Tory propaganda and planned obsolescence. It happened with the trains, and now it's happening with the NHS.

Why is it impossible for socialists to ever take responsibility? You sound as brain dead as the Venezuelan government blaming bakeries for a lack of bread.

Capitalists aren't the reason your government programs are shit.

In the UK, 30% of cancer patients wait so long in line that their cancer become untreatable and they die, while having payed for healthcare they didn't receive with their taxes.

Indeed. The eternal anglo is a cuck from birth, cucked to an Orwellian state, Achmed, and so on.

NHS is striking example of failed healthcare system. Socialized medicine sounds good in theory, but the reality has been harsh.
From leukemia, to acute cholecystitis...paracetamole for everything and come back 2 months later if symptoms persist.
And if by any chance you are alive.

NHS is genocide tier shit.

no

>Honestly, I think there should be, but only for really fucked up people. There are too many lazy shits that should be working like I am who want free healthcare. Get off your ass because you CAN work, and allow little Timmy who has a fucked up spine get that healthcare he needs because he CANNOT work.

This. And if the chronically sick had their own pool, insurance would be affordable for normal people.

Lmao the taxman takes like 90% of your income to pay for niggers and you STILL have to pay for your own Healthcare

If that is the case, then we should ban all of you UK fags from coming over here for healthcare treatments. How does that sound?

20% worth it.

>free

Where do your taxes go?

where do your taxes ago?

So what Nigel? You are paying for the right to have Achmed take your daughters as sex slaves and you have to suck his dick or go to jail for hate crimes. Socialist taxation is way higher anyway, your 90 percent is nonsense.

No, because I don't want to live off of theft.

>In my country, I don't have to wait 4 months to see a doctor

I can see a doctor on the same day If I phone early in the morning or usually the next day.

I broke my arm 3 years ago and everything was smooth and efficient.

>Amerilard thinks he knows shit about the NHS

You are ignorant. NHS worked brilliantly up until the Tories started starving it of funds then pretending the resulting failures were anything other than the result of austerity and privatisation that started under Blair. Waited 10 hours in A&E when I broke my wrist because of a shortage of doctors, which is commonplace now unfortunately. The Tories plan to bleed the NHS dry, then use the chaos as an excuse to hand over all the contracts to fucking G4S.

This really. People of excellent health should get free healthcare.

>where do your taxes ago?

To pay for your defense which you should be paying for, instead of trolling burgers about how superior you are with your socialized system which lives off of the progress of private US medicine investment.

I liked you guys more when you were an empire.

So your solution is to just spend more money? This is what you're bitching about, that your system, which you claim saves you so much money, fucking sucks because your government won't spend more money?

>To pay for your defense which you should be paying for,

We are one of the few NATO countries paying our fair share, nice try fucktard. We could take on Russia in a conventional war alone.

>which you claim saves you so much money

We spend below half of what Americans do per person, to get far better outcomes on average. The only thing America wins in is if you are willing to pay for the absolute best doctor in the world for some surgery, but for average Joe NHS is cost efficient as fuck.

>We could take on Russia in a conventional war alone.

If someone is obligated to give you a service for free, then isn't that slavery?

To be fair, the only thing going for Russia is that they have the most nukes.

Well, if the gov pays the doctors then they are not the slave, but the taxpayer is enslaved.

>b-be grateful that we're paying for your shit!

lol, cuck.

I had excellent health then got a massive tumor in my chest. I'm 21 student so haven't paid any income tax. My treatment costs hundreds of thousands of pounds. In your ideal system how fucked would I be?

Yeah..lad..nah lad..

Russia can't even project their cannon-fodder tier troops globally, and their navy is pure trash and green-water.

In my healthcare system, i have to pay for niggers and the elderly because i'm a healthy young man with no overwhelming health issues. so the healthy people pay for the poor and unhealthy people via taxes.

Let the unhealthy and poor perish; you can't call non-interference culling.

Hemophiliacs can cost $300000 a month in meds, for life. Think about that.

Do you?

Damn makes you think

Failing to see how that is my problem unless you can show me your inherent worth to society. Otherwise I can't think of a good reason to force people to keep you alive.

>im an outlier among people collecting welfare/medicare for depression, obesity, and bipolar disorder, and social anxiety.
If you met past criteria for my health insurance plan you'd be covered for your tumor.

>Hemophiliacs can cost $300000 a month in meds, for life. Think about that.
Literally 300000 different reasons not to come up with a permanent solution.

Socialized healthcare paid with taxes sucks, private healthcare for profits also suck. Sickness always suck

It's not free you hopeless retard. Somebody is paying for it bong.

>wanting (((for-profit))) healthcare

Amerilards are such good goyim.

>our healthcare is free
wow that's nice of those doctors to work for free

Fair but there's a chance the same thing that happened to me could happen to you. Don't you feel better knowing if it does you won't die (assuming you're not loaded)

this
also in Canada the healthcare is one of the absolute worst in the world

wait 12 hours at the emergency
get put in a crappy stretcher in the hallway

wait years for a really important surgery

people with money just drive to the US and get seen there

That's extremely expensive you tit. 1/4 (25%) of people here have 90 pounds in savings.

Morbus Hodgkin ?

Free at the point of use, you fucking dunce

>It's not free you hopeless retard. Somebody is paying for it bong.

It's free for them because they probably aren't paying any taxes.

Venezuela has less government control than Singapore. Not a joke.

>Fair but there's a chance the same thing that happened to me could happen to you. Don't you feel better knowing if it does you won't die (assuming you're not loaded)

You eurocucks have this mindset that we turn away people who can't pay. Hah! If only. Then our healthcare wouldn't be so fucking expensive.

We don't actually let anyone die though. Some people just don't pay, so hospitals pass on those costs to everyone who does pay.

I use my employers insurance. It my be a shitty factory job but their insurance pays everything.

I'd rather wait for a few extra hours to be seen in A&E, a few extra days by a GP, or a few extra weeks by a specialist...
...than to be seen immediately by a (((doctor))) with a (((profit))) motive.

Yes, but all your doctors are niggers and Pajeets.

>"""""free""""" healthcare

UK has higher taxes than the USA, but not by much.

Our corporation tax for example is just 17%, half of yours.

Our income tax bands are shown in pic related, not exactly socialist, more like centrist liberalism which is what our Conservative party is essentially.

Mediastinal germ cell tumor

So why do people pay then? I assumed they got medical debt if they couldn't pay.
