Boy meets girl

>Boy meets girl
>Boy falls in love with girl
>Boy dates girl
>Boy and girl realize that besides initial infatuation they aren't really all that compatible
>Boy and girl both meet people they're better suited for

Why does this never happen?

Something similar happened in True Tears. Well, only one of them met someone they were better suited for.

Good Ending

Because its not romantic?

Or dramatic for that matter.

>Boy and girl meet online
>Girl falls in love
>Plans to move to other country to marry boy
>Eventually gets cold feet
>Decides she isn't moving, but they'll have a forever LDR
>Says she'll commit suicide if boyfriend ever leaves him

Why does this never happen?

Sorry, I don't want to watch NTR shit.

>Boy falls in love with girl
Pretty sure that has been done, OP.

Because true love at first sight is extremely popular despite the fact that it's really stupid.

If you decide you love somebody while knowing next to nothing about them, you're just projecting or making assumptions about them.

It's a lazy device to make a romance instead of building a proper relationship and chemistry before having the characters fall in love.

ParaKiss kinda

MLM, Shizuku decided she didn't want to be around Haru anymore.

Highschool.
This happens IRL all the time.

Because Japs don't know how to portray real relationships, let alone real romantic relationships in anime.

Kokoro Connect, except they don't really meet "other people."

>NTR

Stop being a pure pure shota, user.

Why would I bother watching a realistic anime when I could just look back at the maelstrom of disappointment that has been my life so far?

I watch happy and cute things to escape, I don't need more of that shit.

Because it fucking sucks

Most people get attached to the original couple and root for them
If then you break them up and make them see other people it feels dirty and rage inducing

Reminds me of Bitter Virgin's ending, though it's not quite the same.
But just as infuriating.

A girl I used to know loved Bitter Virgin and told me she could relate to the main heroine, but refused to elaborate when I asked. I've never read it.

>Boy meets girl
>Boy falls in love with girl
>Boy becomes friends with the girl
>Boy is scared of being rejected, so he doesn't make any advancements
>Boy has trouble oppening up to anybody because he's afraid of being rejected and finally being alone
>Boy doesn't really have any close friends
>Boy usually doesn't do anything outside of school
>Boy stays friends with girl throughout highschool
>Girl is oblivious
>Boy and girl graduate highschool
>Boy eventually looses contact with girl and everyone else from highschool for that matter
>Boy still lives with his parents
>Boy finds comfort in escapism
>Boy becomes bitter
>Boy is alone

She was probably just craving attention. If she had actually suffered that much, she would have hidden it or confided it in you, not played games with it.

Because even the nips think it's shit.

one of the best shows you'll ever watch

It happened to my brother.
After he smashed his phone during the third breakup/suicide threat/reconciliation cycle, he just didn't give her his new number.
She called me hoping I'd be a go-between, and oh boy did I enjoy having that little chat.
I'd like to think she followed through and killed herself, but reality doesn't hand out happy endings that easy.

Just change the boy to a girl and you have 90% of all yuri before 2007.

Nice blog

How about this?

The Couple Bridge Club helps boys and girls end up enjoying school life with a romantic partner and also provides relationship advice. The president, named Tomoda, was himself rejected by a girl long ago, and has since vowed to himself that nobody deserves such a fate.

The whole story involves people going to him for advice and "help me hook up with this girl/boy" missions, and there are also occasional new members that join under the condition that they will leave the club as soon as they get their own couples going.

It can go two ways:

The Bitter then Sweet ending starts with Tomoda helping none other than his former girlfriend hook up with someone else. The arc explores their past together, and ends with all his past clients helping out.

The Sweet then Bitter ending happens in Graduation where all of the clients thank them for his efforts. However, while being successful in the club, he is alone, and he realized that the bridges he made were for his expense.

That sounds just like some one shot I wrote when I was 16, although mine was super cliche.
>super famous dude who's extremely good at giving life advice
>likes to pass time on the school roof
>some girl asks help to ask some other dude out
>dude tells something super cliche like flowers and chocolates since it's valentines day anyway
>girl comes back the next day
>boy asks how it went
>girl says she hasn't given it yet
>guy says she should give it today
>the girl then gives the chocolates to the guy
>happy ending
man that was autistic
I like your story though both endings are good but I prefer the bitter ending, just too many happy ending stories out there.

I think Bitter Virgin's ending was more like two people who were afraid of hoping for too much so they'd treat it as short-term thing for as long as it lasted. No reason it would keep lasting forever.

Japan forgot how to have actual relationships.

That's pretty sweet user

do you have any more nice stories you wrote?

I have a few more at tucked away in the storage room of my brain, I think I can get it out but I'll have to rack my brain to do it. I'll try but I'm in the middle of work.

>Boy falls in love with girl

>Boy and girl realize that besides initial infatuation they aren't really all that compatible
>Boy and girl both meet people they're better suited for

Sasuga, Mari Okada.

>Boy falls in love with girl

It happens in VOTOMS fwiw.

>liking shoujo

>Harem show where each of the main girls tries to ship the MC with one of the others
>Glassesbro pulling all their strings for laughs

Kinda like Paradise Kiss?

...

This is a board for anime, not Korean drama. Now kindly leave teenage girl.

When has an anime girl farted on screen in a show that wasn't a scat fetish porn.

Sailor Moon

Because it's completely unnecessary drama

If the manga foreshadows this ending it will be boring and a useless twist

If the manga doesn't foreshadow it pretty sure it would just be infuriating and become a meme manga/anime (something like school days ending, nobody even takes that anime seriously anymore)

AOTY all years

>46 posts in and still no Keit-ai

I'm really disappointed in you Sup Forums.

Literally nagi no asukara if I managed to make any sense of that uncomprehendable clusterfuck.

I recall Love Calender being that. A couple spends a year together before breaking up and moving on with thier lives as adults but look back at the relationship fondly.

Because that's not what people want to read. Most people read comics to escape from reality, especially ones involving romance.

"Love at first sight" and "destined love" are extremely popular with Japanese girls due to the purity of the themes presented.

And then they become adults that want more realism to reflect the lives they lived. Try jousei over shoujo where the lines of purity become blurred.

the only thing that comes to mind right off the top of my head that's like that is a heavily shoujo-inspired weaboo-made webcomic

It isn't exactly the same, but this is similar to the setup in Toradora

5 cm per second was pretty close, except the dude was still pretty hung up on the bitch.

Kokoro Connect

But it was only a one sided love, not mutual.

Hmm in a way actually yeah

Haganai did in s1 or s2, was the elder nun chick.Well shit thanks for reminding me of that absolute waste of time show.

This is how Nisekoi will end. Calling it.

Some cunt already said TT and that's quite romantic.

Happened in Watashi ni XX Shinasai. Girl chooses her cousin over the other guy they become lovers, go on dates and stuff but realize it can't be love so she ends up with the other guy and he is chased down by other girl.

not really both
but Kyosuke left curse girl for his sister

Something at least vaguely similar to that happened in Yogusa no Sora, Sora's route. Haru hooked up with Nao for a bit before he ended up fucking his sister.

Read more manga. Watch more anime.
