If Griffith didn't maliciously go after Casca and Gutz after being transformed, he would be slightly forgivable. He was in a bad spot and most likely didn't know the full weight of the choice.
But why did he do evil to Casca and Gutz after he was transformed and strong again?
Casca and Gutz are sacrifices to the monsters, not members of the God Hand directly. Griffith didn't have to do anything to them.

He didn't take responsibility for his shit choices after Gutz left, and sacrificed his men for power. Maybe things are better under Femto ruling now, but if his plan is to do good. Why did he attack Guts and Casca directly, afterwards?
