I was wondering about the connection Freyja and Mikumo have. They keep pushing the whole Hayate and Freyja thing, and I have a feeling it's a distraction.

At first I though Giraffe Blues might have been a song about Freyja's feelings towards Hayate, because the lyrics kinda fit. However it's clear from the start the intended for it to be a duet between Freyja and Mikumo.

I have a feeling something big is going to happen between Mikumo and Freyja.

Freyja sings the lines:
