Have you ever dropped a series, only to go back to it and absolutely love it?

Have you ever dropped a series, only to go back to it and absolutely love it?

...

No. I dropped it for a reason.

Give it another chance. It was only a couple bad episodes. After that it gets way better. WAY better. W A Y better.

Yes, I actually had to drop pic related three times before I came around and thought it was a masterpiece.

>a masterpiece
It was great, but not that. The TV finale and Sonic the Hedgehog ruined any chances of it being in that territory.

Clannad

Yes, I dropped Monster the first time I watched it then I picked it back up a year later and loved it.

>Sonic the Hedgehog
w-what

dropped girls und panzer before they fought the russians for some reason

came to my senses later and recently enjoyed the movie

Shityucka. Fucking retarded bitch cunt.

Dropped Shinsekai Yori right before the timeskip only to watch it later and absolutely love the rest of the show

I watched GuP purely for Katyusha

Is it just me or is SSY getting a lot of attention recently?
Was it recommended on some le epic "mature anime for mature audience" YouTube channel or something?

I actually dropped Pani Poni Dash originally. I hated the first episode so much, but then I decided to give it a few more episodes and loved the shit out of it.

Its such a lukewarm comedy for me. I have little desire to actually watch it, but I still find myself watching an episode every now and then. I'm still only halfway through it.

no

G Gundam

No, but I have gone back and rewatched shows I didn't really like the first watch and then love them.

It's definitely not for everyone, so I can understand people who can't get into it.

I didn't like Madoka the first time around, but I definitely liked it a lot more the second time seeing it. I wouldn't call it a masterpiece though

My first time watching Planetes I watched up to episode 7 and I didn't feel like going back to it, so after some time I decided to drop it. 1 year later I started it over from the beginning and loved it.

Also, nice thinly-veiled rec thread.

I'm glad i went back to finish it
