OP is assuming that they're going to do something in 7 years from when it was said in the Anime too, but in reality it was just a straight adaptation and nothing is going to happen next week except for the OP realizing he's wasted the last several years posting this shit.

I dont want to start this in the start of a new anime season because the second I watch 1 episode I'll end up binging it and forgetting about season shit.

I'll get flak for this, but in my opinion the first few episodes of SZS are pretty meh in comparison to the rest of the series. I'd say it's mostly due to them having to not only establish the formula and characters, but to try to make it humorous on top of it. I'd say to give it a few more episodes, but the format remains largely the same for the rest of the series, so if you don't like it by then, feel free to drop it.

Try watching 250 more series and come back to it. Not saying this to be an elitist but you will appreciate it more after having more experience with watching anime. Honestly SzS and Paniponi Dash are very otaku heavy anime.
