There was equipment in the room to give plenty of notice of the arrival of the police. You do that if you plan on escaping.

If you've ever been to a hotel, you'd know that the two windows broken are a part of the same corner suite. The rooms in these vegas hotels are very large.
While I don't rule this out, it's possible it's an attached suite and he could have moved positions

A very good point. Listening to the shots last night I would have sworn there were multiple shooters. It sounded at one point that 2 or 3 guns were going off at the same time. I was surprised they came out and said it was a single shooter when last night the common report was multiple.

I personally don't think it would matter if it were 1 shooter or multiple; these people were saying multiple shooters, which could very well be the case, but you won't ever know because it's easy to dismiss it as the echo, some lights in the distance, etc. You're not really seeing the whole picture when you're adrenaline is pumping and flight/fight has revved into overdrive; couple that with media disinformation/misinformation/reporting wrong information, and the detaining by cops for statements, names, etc, you'd be so tired by the end of it, you wouldn't know what to believe.
Other concert goers are also claiming that the exits were blocked off and that they were trapped inside the venue, but I'm not sure on that one.
