I haven't seen a list of weapons, but they say that he was in the hotel room with at least ten firearms. They also say they recovered a device known as a trigger-crank (No shit, look it up), which is a device you bolt on over the trigger that will fire the gun faster than you could with your finger alone.
Right now I think it is not exactly clear whether he had a fully automatic weapon, or whether he was only simulating automatic fire with the crank device.

I think there was both. At one point the fire is very measured and sounds like something high caliber and belt fed, later you hear very rapid fire that sounds like a semi with a crank mod, as those things just shit out a mag.
