Meme or not, I've been a bit obsessed with trawling the web for spoilers for the first 2 episodes, and it just makes sense its her.

They show up in flashbacks in the first episode but I imagine if they show up at all it won't be until the end, possibly with Hajime coming to save the day or Izuru coming to make things worse.
This is supposed to end the Hope's Peak stuff so they should resolve everything within the two series. If not it'll be a big letdown.

This is a franchise that goes out of its way to fuck with you on every level conceivable. It's like Silent Hil if Silent Hill had no fourth wall , a slicker aesthetic and was trying to get into your head rather than your character's.
