Guns are definitely to blame, if that wasn't a GUN RESTRICTED AREA then a single bullet would have stopped the whole mess

This is what gets me, it's a huge event usually in my experiences there's always somebody checking bags. Then a metal detector. How did this guy carry that huge of a gun and not one person notice? Even then if he had it broken down somebody could have stopped him as he was building it back up. But nobody did I want to know the full story or at least the (((((official))))) story.

How about
>muslim kills many people using a truck, literally because of the ideology/teachings of islam
FILTHY MUDSLIME SO MUCH FOR RELIGION OF PEACE
>white guy kills many people using a gun because [reason yet unknown]
IT WAS A FALSEFLAG NOBODY DIED THE CIA DID IT

Was this the end game for him? Playing a Martyr so he can try and rid the 2nd ammendment?

>brown people shoot each other every day
>no calls for gun control
>some whites die because they didn't take their .22 inoculation
>BAN ALL GUNS NOW
and to think liberals love the brown man

Hey at least this time I saw the dead bodies, show me a dead body in Sandy hook.

“Most terrorists are false flag terrorists, or are created by our own security services. In the United States, every single terrorist incident we have had has been a false flag, or has been an informant pushed on by the FBI. In fact, we now have citizens taking out restraining orders against FBI informants that are trying to incite terrorism. We’ve become a lunatic asylum.”

“The truth is, there is no Islamic army or terrorist group called Al-Qaeda, and any informed intelligence officer knows this. But, there is a propaganda campaign to make the public believe in the presence of an intensified entity representing the ‘devil’ only in order to drive TV watchers to accept a unified international leadership for a war against terrorism. The country behind this propaganda is the United States.”

the event was a gun free zone but the hotel he was at probably doesn't xray luggage going in and out every time a resident enters and leaves retard

Wait a minute it was a gun free zone? Did he know that?

>guns prevent evil acts
Hey sperg, Tomothy McVeigh, the 9-11 attackers, and a guy from NYC who killed 100 night club goers with a gallon of gas. There's more, and banning guns doesn't stop them.

it wasn't a bullet free zone tho. See the hotel wasn't a gun free zone so he legally discharged his bullets into an area they weren't banned.

>believing in "evil"

yeah, nah. just nah.

he was around half a fucking mile away, which may have hindered event security's effectiveness in checking his bags some. And on this point, you can legitimately question gun laws, as only (commonly available) devices capable of killing at such range

Anyone have a timeline yet? I'm still fresh the last thing I read he was in the back of the show spraying everyone and now he was actually half a mile away from the show?

Potato guns are common. That aint more than some pvc pipe and a propane tank.

Homemade pipebombs too, pvc and reactive powders purchased at walmart with some nails.

Combine the two and he could have killed just as many people.

Or he could have just driven a truck through the crowd.

The only thing that would have stopped this event from occuring is if mandalay bay didnt skimp on the windows by making them out of glass instead of bulletproof glass. This is clearly mandalay bay's fault.

random shitty map, which still makes it looks closer than is.
odd, there was some actual discussion of gun laws for a day or so on here. Now its just just 'muh freedoms, cold dead hands, shut it down lib/commie bastids' etc. There really is no point even trying to discuss it now.

Ok so from the hotel, to route 91, and finally to to the bay. Is this correct? I need more info I'm digging it up as I'm going but I'm seeing a lot of contradictory news.

Usually NYPD has people on roofs when they know there's gonna be a big event like this. All major city PD's should take a few pages from their playbook. Post 9/11 NYC police know what the fuck they're doing, the city hosts New Year's Eve every fucking year.

That areas pretty open otherwise tho, not sure rooftop cops/Koreans would have helped even had there been other nearby roofs, nor was this a 'big event' as such, not for Vegas. Was business as usual. Honestly couldn't make any case for accusations against cops here (guy was unknown, no reason to suspect that concert would be targeted) or security as said, that theres a hotel overlooking the concert site some distance away, fuck all they can do about that.

Which leaves gun laws :) Still bit dubious it was one shooter, was listening to the scanner at the time, and reports then did and do not match story now, or it was hell of a confused, but whatever. Point being, guy was organised, determined, target random. I'd rack my brains how it could have been better prevented even with the benefit of hindsight desu. How he got the guns into hotel unchecked, probably the only questionable point.

Yeah, true all around. Guess we'll have to wait and see if they let security camera footage of the hotel be released so we can see him bringing the guns in (or not)

>How he got the guns into hotel unchecked, probably the only questionable point.

Like, in a suitcase? Hotels aren't airports. He would have just wheeled his luggage in.

no argument, none - just if you were trying to find one point (any point) where you could have said it was -maybe- preventable, or security may have been better, its maybe this. Guy had (apparently) complete arsenal in there. Just in practice, would mean luggage scans or metal detectors or whatever, I doubt its practical either.

And if we didn't have cars, the truck massacre's would be avoided.
